Temp is accurate- my first run of slow cooked ribs came out perfectly. Sturdy yet not too heavy to lift and clean. My old Hamilton Beach crockpot was 21 years old. It didn't break, but the cord was looking hazardous. I went with another Hamilton Beach and I'm glad I did.
