I purchased these for additional emergency water storage that would fit neatly in my garage space. I received these a few days after ordering and the kit came exactly as described and in perfect shape. All of the small kit items such as the lids, spigot, water treatment drops, strap wrench and instructions were nicely packaged in a zip loc bag. The four 5 gallon jugs appear to be very sturdy and durable, but I only give 4 stars for now. I can update these after an Arizona summer. The lids were all anti-tamper allowing you to tell if the lids were opened at a later time. The strap wrench made it easy to tighten the lids for storage. The kit also came with an additional lid for the spigot. NOTE: You will need to drill out the lid for the spigot. After reading through the instructions provided with the kit, I washed and sanitized the four 5 gallon jugs and allowed them to dry. Once filled I used the treatment drops as directed, tightened the lids and stacked them in the garage. Very easy product to set up and the moving is pretty easy with the integrated handle. Just remember full with water these things weigh approx 40 lbs. NOTE: The air vents on the jugs are NOT drilled out. I left mine this way to keep the jugs a little more air tight. When you are ready to use the jugs you will need to puncture the air vent to allow the jugs to drain easily. All in all I recommend the 20 gallon emergency water kit.

I feel bad leaving 4/5 stars when it "might" have been user error, but the drops that come along with the water containers left me short. These come with drops to treat the water before you seal up the containers, and there was only enough to treat 5/6 storage containers. I measured it out carefully, so it likely wasn't user error, and now I need to buy more drops for the final container. Overall, directions were easy to follow, jugs are the perfect size where you can still move them when full, but you probably don't want them to be any larger! Caps went on perfectly and the order even came with a few extra caps- just in case. I would buy these again.

love the containers. stackable, come with tight fitting lids and water treatment. cannot comment on taste as I have just filled them, will update in a couple months.

Finally got them cleaned out, prepped and filled with water. They feel like they are sturdy and will have a long life
I followed the suggestion of another reviewer in using very little dish soap to cleanse them and then adding bleach with the water instead of the included chemicals.
I guess its due to the number of containers one buys whether or not the strap wrench to tighten down the caps in included. I got the 4 pack and the wrench was included; so potential buyers need to keep that in mind.
Only thing I did not like is that in drilling out the vent holes, removing the caps broke the seal on them. I hope I tightened the caps back down sufficiently once I was done. Either they should have that pre-drilled out or have the vent caps packaged separately like the main lids. And that is what made me give them a less than perfect score.
I will keep a close eye on them for the next few days to insure that there is no defect that can cause leakage- they are standing upright and will continue to be that way once I'm sure they won't leak and can be properly store them in a quiet corner of the house.
