I got this for my niece who is into animé & anything Japanese. Her favorite color is purple! And even if the title says "sexy", don't let that throw you off and discourage for gift for a tween. She likes all the cute stuff so I got her a pair of Japanese barrettes to go with it and a fan. She could wear this with black jeans, leggings or shorts and a black or white shirt underneath & her converse high tops. It's just the perfect touch to add to tween street wear with her little backpack & hello kittie socks. LOL! The gift was a hit!

The quality of the material is nice. The ties are placed in the wrong place. For example inside there are 2 ties, one is about 6-8" higher than the other. I had to cut one off and re-sew it on at the level of the other. Same for the outside. Quick fix, but beware. If you don't sew - this won't work for you. If you try to tie it as it is, you will have a big gap in the front which won't be good.

This is very pretty... However I am normally a US size 12-14 ... didn't fit my arms. I think it would look great if you are a size 8 or smaller.... or if you have very small arms.

These are for women, and i'm a guy, and i don't care. i'm going to wear this beautifully awesome kimono. Purchased the yellow/gold kimono, and am definitely going to buy the wine-red, black and silver colored ones soon, as well. It's also quite long. I'm 5'8, and it reaches my ankles (give or take an inch below or over). The fabric is really thin/light, so it's great around the house, or something airy on Spring/Summer days that shouldn't over-heat you. I love to draw, so the designs on this are extra amazing to me. I could be mistaken, but the sleeves are also pockets. I've seen that feature before in movies/anime, so it's really cool having that. When I'm not wearing this, it's large/wide enough to act as a great backdrop, so instead of hanging it up in the closet, it'll be on the wall as a very nice decoration.
