I have been using this for 3 week now and it works great makes ice fast love that you can have 3 options for supplying the water bottle , or garden hose or main waters supply line a few issues I have is the ice maker looked bigger in picture and the ice does not come in cubes most the time and you have to basically break the ice in smaller cubes and the lid is gapped and ice don't stay frozen and melts

Don't be surprised when it arrives, it's small. See my pic for it next to a 5 gal water jug. Speaking of a water jug, ignore the reviews that say it doesn't work with a jug. It does. You just have to switch it to the pump. There is a small hole in the front. Insert a pin or something to press the button. The water fill icon will change showing an I instead of an O when you have it switched. We used it with a water bottle for Thanksgiving and had no issues. The bottle filled it up and worked great.

I bought this for my husband as a gift. We go fishing and boating a lot, so we are constantly using ice. As we did not have a free water line to hook it up, we bought an adapter (maybe $5 at Lowe's) and hooked it up to our water hose. We live in Florida and have it on our back lanai. It works well and produces a good amount of ice. We keep the ice set on the thickest setting and it will fill up the bin overnight. The bin keeps the ice from melting pretty well. It's not meant to keep it frozen. I would compare the bins ability to keep ice cold to a styrofoam cooler. I would not recommend for a busy restaurant, as you do have to give the machine time to make ice, but for filling a cooler or two, it's great. You just have to make sure to bag up the ice to put in a freezer. We have had this a month now and I am really glad we bought it.

I have had this ice maker since sept of 2020.. It has produced ice continuously since i installed it.. I am GC in south Florida and we use ice every day for our jobs.. This ice maker fills the bill.. we empty it every day and by noon it is full again.. Highly recommend it.. I have it installed in my garage and hooked to a dedicated water line with a charcoal filter, with a permanent drain thru the wall of my garage.
