Beautiful Piece but Issues

The bed is beautiful. It is very natural and stands out when walking into the room. The color matches perfectly with the picture and is on point with everything the description says. I've had the bed for two months now without any major complaints.
However"¦ lets talk about some cons"¦. The bed arrived with one of the support pieces of the frame cracked through. I ended up securing the crack and hoping for the best so I could avoid returning such a large item. As of right now it hold up but the company has to be more careful with defective items.
Second"¦ if you decide to put this together yourself, its easier with two people and two drills. The support layout for the mattress is required to be screwed into place. You are talking about roughly 15-20 board that need to he screwed into the bed frame. Then anothee 15-20 board for the day bed. Without a drill, a lot of time and effort will be needed!
Overall, I'm happy with the bed and I do recommend the style of it. It seems secure if all pieces were 100%. I'll say it is close to being worth the price!

It's not Scandinavian, it's more yellowish. Nice bed but dissapointed with the color. It's not the same as shown in the picture.

The color is red. We had to sand all four we bought and restain them. Luckily, it is good wood and now looks lovely. But the color it comes in is really terrible. Also, the trundle has no rails so it's not the easiest to get in and out. It kind of moves around making it hard to put in straight.
Overall, great style, and nice pine just beware of the color and lack of rails.

This bed arrived on schedule. It was well packed. All the hardware was in the box. It is beautiful solid wood. It was easy for two women to assemble. The picture directions were easy to follow.
The casters are short, so might not work on carpet.
The bed is strong and would work for an adult.

As the other reviews mention, the color is off. I was prepared to sand the bed and use a clear varnish if it was terribly off. It was not necessary. I like the bed and a comfortable mattress made it perfect for my guest room. I searched tons of day beds, this style is simple and you should be able to decorate it anyway you want it. Enjoy!
