Decent Board overall. Bearings break quickly, board has little pop

This was my first board and something I consider to have been a really good buy as far as quality and durability.
But I do regret buying this board and not spending extra money and buying a decent one.
The deck has little to no pop. Good luck getting ollies over 10 inches.
Bearings are good for the first few weeks but 3 broke after that. Had to replace them with Bones Reds (which are awesome btw)
Grip is SUPER GRIPPY and I wish the same grip was available separately. The only company I would skate over it is AmGrip.
Wheels are super hard.
This board is meant for cruising and for basic park tricks. Really a beginners board.
Trust me though, if you want to get you or your kid into skating and want him to CONTINUE it and be good at it, you should buy all parts of a board separately and just setup your own. Completes are never worth it, especially $40 ones from Amazon.
Good board overall. 4/5 because of bearing replacement coming so soon and because of low pop.

This is my first real skateboard, and I wanted to master the basics before buying an expensive skateboard. This was a great deal for only $35, and I predict it will last a while and when the board breaks, I will keep the trucks. The wheels are of cheap material, but are very smooth and good for beginners. I heard some small creaking or cracking and don't know if that means it's breaking or just stretching/wearing-in. All in all if you are a beginner to intermediate skateboarder, this is the board for you. But if you are already an advanced skateboarder, go for something better.
My Granddaughter chose it herself!

Bought a skateboard for a gift. It was not the one she dreamed of (not cool enough!) So I had her pick out the "coolest one" and checkerboard was THE one. And returning the first one was so quick and easy!
Overall good board, worth the money.

Im new to skateboarding and bought this one as my first real skateboard. I got it today in the mail (on time) and took it for a test ride and here's what i think so far:
1: Deck itself is a good, sturdy deck, a little bit on the heavier side but i think that's mostly due to the decks.
2: The trucks are decent but a bit loose. I got minor wheel bite. But tightening them should fix it.
3: The wheels are Polyurethane and not plastic like walmart boards.
4: The bearings aren't the best, when i took it out of the box the nut was tightened too tight and prevented them from spinning, a skateboard tool would be handy. But even when loosening the nut, the wheels didn't spin for more than 5 seconds, when i rode it i got a good 10-15 feet per kick.
5: The grip tape has amazing grip but peels a bit easy so it may have to be replaced later on.
6: The graphic also peels a bit easy but since its in the bottom it shouldn't be too much of a bother, it also comes with riser 1/8" hardware.
In general it's an overall decent board for begginers. A lot better than walmart boards in my opinion. Sturdy deck and decent trucks, bearings and wheels. I'm new to skateboarding so in my opinion it's a good starter board but if you're not new to skateboarding like me, i suggest getting a better quality board or if yoy decide to get this one you'll have to change the bearings and grip tape eventually.
One thing i didn't like was that one of the bearings was an ABEC 7 and from a different brand (the rest were Krown ABEC 9s).
And yes, this IS a KROWN skateboard.
I also posted a review video on YouTube for those who want a verbal honest opinion/review, its not the best but at least there's a review on this board now!

Board was delivered well-before the scheduled delivery date (and this was during the Christmas season, mind you)! Came as-promised and looks sharp. Daughter has been 'abusing' it since then and ABSOLUTELY loves it! Appears to be sturdy, quite manageable (daughter's input, not mine) and she is thrilled. I was even thinking of hopping on it and giving it a try... NOT! She's happy, I happy! Kudos!
