My 4 year old son just completed this with only needing about 10% help. A few pieces he couldn't get together and wanted to confirm the correct piece/placement. We did Break the build time up into 3 different sessions of about 45min each. Nice set, just like legos.
Cons:
- set has number bags but a few times I had to open the next bag for pieces before the previous bag was completed/out of pieces
- colors in instructions are off. Orange pieces are yellow and the different blues and grays are very close in the instructions (not the of the world but takes a minute to know if you have the correct piece)
I would buy again. If a child loves robots and/or legos this is a great choice.

My sons (6 & 9) and daughter (11) loved to play with this building set. It kept them engaged and working as a team to build the robot and to control the robot with the remote control. Even their friends (12 girl, 9 boy) enjoyed driving the robot so much that she asked for the info so she can purchase one. This is a good set for a good price with advanced features via phone app. Highly recommend this. I bought a few more sets as gifts for friends kids.
