What I was hoping for!

WARNING! This thing is powerful. I would suggest you play with it with access to the remote's power button in case you need to turn it off.
Hello!
I tend to shop for months- especially when I buy a higher dollar item online. I am glad I finally purchased this chair. I have had it for 2 days and have used it 8 times- you might say I like it :) I decided to find a chair like this after sitting in the ones at our local mall and decided on this one due to reviews and price point. This one is far better than the mall...
I am 5' 8.5" at about 185 pounds and wear a medium shirt and size 34-36 pants. I have used it with a blanket on the chair to start with- I've read in other reviews that it can help you get used to it without having to overcome the deeper, more intense kneading action (that I can tell is there and that I will want later).
Lower legs: When I sit in this chair, I stretch my feet out to extend the foot section so my calves fit perfectly and then relax them when the massage starts. The air pressure on my calves works to compress my legs pretty well.
Feet: The foot section with the sole massage works great- if I sit in the chair for 3 cycles, the firm compression and rollers do start to hurt the bottoms of my flat feet but 2 times is perfect. This was a big selling point for me as my feet generally are sore at the end of a 12 hour, on my feet, teaching/IT day.
Back and butt: As the massager is running up and down your back and butt, the compression on your hips at times alternates between left and right that causes your body to shift slightly to get even more coverage and helps loosen my spine (this was weird at first because I thought I was imagining it and I love it now). The butt massage it gives you is actually quite nice- it actually feels like a good hand massage.
Arms: I have smaller forearms so I like to position them directly on the arm compression areas to really get a good squeeze that alternates front to back. It compresses hard enough to initially concern me that I might not be able to get out if I needed to! This is actually a good thing for me- I really enjoy the compression. If you don't like as much compression (or have larger forearms), you can let your arms rest more towards the outside of the chair in a larger pocket area.
Zero gravity: is the way to go.
Maybe someday I will try other settings, but for now, I just turn it on and let it do its default routine. When the massage is over, it tips you back up into a nice position to be able to get out of the chair. The extended foot section has two little rollers (kind of like HEELYS shoe rollers) that help it glide over my carpet (that needs replaced- it is a little flat but makes it nice for my chair!)
Admittedly, I have not ever gone to a professional masseuse so I cannot comment on how close this chair is to that experience but I can say that is was worth the money for me. I hope this helped you out and God bless!

Great chair for the money!

This review was made on June 12th so we have had the chair for about 4 months with heavy/daily use. We purchased this chair around Feb. 10th. There was a issue with the shipping company not being able to deliver the chair for some reason. I reached out to the seller via email and they fixed the issue within 24 hours. It took about around 8 days for us to receive the chair. I expected it to take a while since I knew it was coming from California and we are located in South Florida. I was notified throughout the shipping process as to when I was receiving the chair. This included a time frame as to when they would be there to deliver. As expected the delivery company would only deliver to the door. I believe if I offered the delivery person $20, she would have at least helped me to bring it into our home. That being said, I did not make that offer to her because I was ready to bring the chair inside my self. I was able to unbox the chair outside, place it carefully on a dolly and wheel it into our home. It took a while since I was by myself, but after carful planning and about 30 minutes the chair was in its place. There was NO ASSEMBLEY needed. All I needed to do was unbox it, put it in its place and plug it in. The chair itself does an amazing job. We have used massage chairs at Disney's Pop Century so I am comparing it to those. This chair is 10x's better that those chair we have experienced. To give you a idea I am a male about 5'11" and around 200 lbs. with a foot size of 12. I fit perfectly into the chair. My feet fit snuggly into the foot massager part. The foot massager part can be extended to fit a taller person by pushing down on that part. The S and L track massage knead from my neck area down to my lower buttocks area. It does a really nice job. The airbags are great. It's probably my favorite since it squeeze's all different areas to help the blood flow. These areas include the shoulder area, arm and hand area, hips area, calves area, top of foot as well as the heal area. It also does the Thai stretch where it leans all the way back, like a zero gravity. The bluetooth speakers are pretty cool. Nothing crazy but if you put some relaxing tunes while you get your massage, it will add to the experience. To be honest I only used it the first day. This also goes for the heating elements. I only tried it the first day so I don't have much to say about it. As far as the controller, you kind of need to learn how to use it on your own since the instructions are vague. You can control a lot of the features including the strength of the massage. We usually keep it on a medium since the high is a bit too much for us. My mother (83) and mother in law (74) say the medium is a bit to harsh for them so we run it on low for them, which they are good with. If we had something to complain about it would be the controller. You kind of need to play with it to figure it out. If you are still with me throughout this long review, the chair over all is a really good buy. You can't beat it for the price. We have had a couple of our friends try it out when they came to visit. Everyone has loved it and one had even purchased one as soon as she came off the chair. It's a good buy. Delivery was good. Communication with the seller was good. The chair overall is still working strong 4 months later. The chair is used daily by my wife and our two sons 15 and 14. As of today we have had no issues. This is a honest review and it hope it helps with your purchase.
Great massage chair with a few caveats
Matt✓ Verified Purchase•September 29, 2023
For the price, you can't beat the chair. It appears to be well built and looks decently impressive. It's fairly heavy, so expect to dial a friend or two to get it where you need it.
I've been in the market for a chair and have tried many of the ones in my local market - from the cheap to the 12k models, so I have something to compare it to. My biggest concern was to get a chair that I hated and having to try to figure out how to ship it back, wasting money (it's heavy!!) and time.
Here's what I think is helpful:
1) The chair has a great "everything" mode. It's the default mode called "Relaxation" mode where it randomly does all the things it's capable of. Most of the other settings aren't programmed that well for my liking. So if having a bunch of modes to use is important, this isn't your model.
2) If you have specific settings that you need to keep, know that the remote remembers NOTHING! You'll start at step 1 everytime, and also after the 15min timeout occurs.
3) The air bags that it has are very strong. I've had multiple complaints of family members saying they feel like they are getting crushed. I don't mind it too much, as long as I keep in on relaxation mode. It's almost like torture in some of the other modes where you'll have to pull your arms out just so your hands/legs aren't numb. I did contact the company and there's no way to go lower than the default without just turning them off, or just not putting your hands in the holders.
4) If you have long arms and legs, this chair will fit, but just know that the leg extension doesn't hold well at all, so you either need to keep pressing or just deal, and the arm pockets will have your hands a little cramped for space.
5) The SL track has GREAT coverage of your back, neck, shoulders, and butt. Just know that it doesn't have the 3d/4d modes that really jamb into your back. I prefer this chair style. If you are unsure, go to a local company and try the different modes. This one doesn't try to jamb the rollers through your chest.
Overall, if your ok with the above items, the chair will be a nice addition to your home. It's great that I didn't invest a ton into it, and with the default mode, I feel better after I go into it. Hope that helps!

Great Chair - Poor remote control

We are really impressed with this chair. We have owned 2 other massage chairs over the past 30 years that were more expensive than this one, but this chair is FAR better in quality and features than past chairs we had. Beautiful appearance. It looks like a solid professional chair you would see in a business, yet narrow enough to not take up a lot of room like those other big chairs. As such, it is heavy and you need at least 2 very strong people to move it into place.
SHIPPING: We ordered right after Thanksgiving and even with all the Covid stuff going on, it arrived in the middle of the delivery range that was quoted. It took about 10 days to get here. Our carrier was "RL Carriers" (yours may vary depending on location). The delivery guy was super nice and efficient. However, RL Carriers never called us to arrange delivery. They just showed up at the door on a day and time we did not expect. Luckily, we were home. I suggest calling the trucking company when you get the phone number. The seller sends shipping contact information by email.
The chair was VERY WELL packaged, protected, and arrived on a pallet. It took us about 15 minutes to remove all the packaging and pulling it off the pallet and into the front door. You need at least a standard 36-inch-wide door for it to fit inside which gives about an inch of extra room on each side going in. Setup is simple: power cord in the back bottom of the chair, and connection for a solid quality remote control connector just inside the right-side seat.
THE CHAIR: I am 6.2" and 230 pounds. Wife is only 5.4" and 130 pounds. TIt accommodates both of us perfectly. I like that the length of the foot rest is adjustable. For me, the massaging action is a bit too strong, but just right if I have on my bath robe for a little extra padding. Those inflation bags are very strong and the wife says it feels too strong on the legs. Other users have said this. We especially like that the back rollers go all the way down below the hip area. Many massage chairs don't do that even at a higher price. The chair is also quiet and doesn't disturb other people talking in the same room.
NOT GOOD INSTRUCTIONS: As others mention, the instruction book could be better. It is not good at explaining adjustments in the remote-control functions.
BLUETOOH SPEAKERS: One disappointment is the blue-tooth speakers will not connect to either one of our iPhone 12. The phone sees the chair in the list, yet will not pair to it. And yes, we did turn on that feature in the manual settings of the remote-control. It's a problem with newer phones and newer pads. And for some reason, BT is turned off by default. Even worse it that blue-tooth resets to off mode every time the chair is turned off. Makes no sense that it should be off by default (EVERY TIME).
REMOTE CONTROL: It's not a 5-start review because of the remote. Several issues. My suggestion for a better feature would be to allow a user to select the manual settings they like most and save those settings in memory. Perhaps a simple long-press of the manual button to activate a user's favorite settings. Right now, you have to make your favorite manual setting every time you get in the chair. For us, we use the automatic setting most of the time, since manual mode is a difficult to use.
The remote needs a lot of work to make it simpler and easier to use. It really should remember ALL manual settings when turned off. Also, you can't even get into the manual mode until at least 30 seconds after turning on the chair and letting it start massaging. A better idea would be to stop all massaging and chair movements as soon as a user presses the manual mode button and allow the manual mode to work immediately after turning on the power instead of waiting. The remote functions were not well thought out in design. It takes away from a beautifully designed chair. Plan on using the Auto function to save trouble. It would be nice to have an updated remote in the future, yet I doubt it.
Not sure what to do about Bluetooth not working. The wife really wanted that advertised feature and almost wants to return the chair since it doesn't work. We will contact the manufacturer.

I've owned this for about a year and it's been good to me. I'd buy it again, if it lasts a long time... First time I tried it was at my work and decided it would be nice in my bedroom, so I bought one with my HSA account. Shhhhh, I don't know if that's allowed. ;) Anyway, I've enjoyed sitting in it before I go to bed, it helps me to wind down and sometimes when I get up, when I'm sore or don't have much going on... It's saved me some money, not paying a massage therapist when I can use a message. I've sat in others that cost more, but aren't as good, so I'd def recommend this product. Thanks guys! The foot and butt massages are nice, but I must admit, it might take a sec to get used to... I'll even lift the head pillow, so it gets my neck a lil better. Just be careful it does squeeze your head. And be sure to adjust the settings, it makes a difference. Everyone I've allowed to sit in my chair, says they love it and asks me later if they can come over and use it... Even my girlfriend who was a message therapist, who's kinda a snob with MT enjoys sitting in it... Sheesh! Ya'll need to get your own! Haha
