The machine works great but the most annoying thing is that it makes you wait on it to pre-heat because it won't let you choose a pour until it is done pre-heating, so it does NOT give you the ability to leave it pre-heating then automatically pour when it's done, you need to wait for it to pre-heat then you are able to press the pour button when it is done, which can be quite a while, and it only stays on for a specific amount of time that is NOT customizable, and so when I come back to it to make more after some time, I have to wait on it to pre-heat again.

This is the second Mixpresso I've purchased. I bought the first one (red) and liked it so much I bought a second Mixpresso (black) for our lake home
Both machines came very well packaged. Definitely not frustration-free packing bit it certainly did the job. The set up was quick and easy for the first machine. No issues whatsoever, even for a novice. The one I bought for our lake house was a bit of an issue. It's an old lake cabin and has only two prong outlets. So it required a three prong adapter (we have proper grounding) and we plan on upgrading to a proper three prong outlet soon. That glitch isn't Mixpresso's fault but be advised, it does require a three prong outlet.
I haven't had any issues with the machine properly accepting a variety of Nespresso capsules . They all have loaded properly first try and delivered good espresso. I would say that the black model seems to drip, drip, drip longer than the red. I'm patient. The black model seems a bit quieter than the red but that could be a matter of different kitchen acoustics. All in all, it's no louder than other machines I've heard. It's easy to clean. The water canister is a bit fiddly to fill and set but I solved that annoyance by bringing the water to the canister. Much easier.
Although I can't speak to longevity, no issues thus far and I consider it a good bargain.

Dead after two months use. But found the problem!

This was great until it wasn't. Buyer beware. Machine died after two months. Bought 9/20 dead 11/20.
Tried all the trouble shooting from web site. Nothing BUT. I looked and saw that plug ( a pig tail, it is not hard wired) connecting into machine was loose! Jammed it in with a little uumph. And voila it is working !
This step was not in the trouble shooting instructions and it should be. It was a simple issue. Easy to fix.
So now we have our coffee back!

This clone of the more expensive proprietary Nespresso Originaline machines is every bit as good. I just retired my Nespresso CITIZ after years of service and decided to try it because of the price point. It is well made, does not feel or look cheap.
It does make noise. All espresso machines do. It's the nature of the pump. This one does not make significantly more noise than my old Nespresso CITIZ. And the coffee is superb. Hot with a nice layer of crema.
There is an adjustment feature where you can specify how many ml of coffee you want produced for each cup, either espresso or lungo. The water reservoir is graduated in milliliters with a capacity of 700. If you're more used to measuring in ounces that's about 24oz.

I needed an inexpensive machine to use while we are in a short term rental. This is a great machine for just $76. It has a few quirky things like the lever is not quite long enough for easier caplet compartment use and the shots are a bit, "long" (time wise) but overall, it works great and looks adorable!
