This mattress is very sturdy and fits the frame perfectly. You can't go wrong when shopping The Waterbed Doctor. (And their customer service is the BOMB).

Update: The night before last I was preparing to get into bed when I discovered the tops of my waterbed sheets were soaking wet as well as the floor under the corner of the mattress. Although I bought this mattress in September, 2021, my son didn't set it u for me until the end of October. I found that a seam on the top front of the mattress had sprung a leak. I was so disappointed! A waterbed usually lasts me several years. I haven't contacted the vendor yet but the mattress does have a 3-year free replacement warranty. I love sleeping on a waterbed but it's such a production to set it up! Oh well. I've been sleeping on a waterbed since probably 1974 so I'm hopeful I will be able to get a "free" replacement.

I finally decided to replace my almost-five year old waterbed mattress because it had sprung several small leaks and it was in dire need of refilling. I purchased this new mattress September 1 and i arrived September 3! My son "installed" it for me and although it's always a "pain" to replace a waterbed mattress because you have to empty the current one first, it was relatively easy for him because he's very handy and he purchased a pump which made the process very quick. The mattress is very heavy-duty and I've slept better these last two months than I have in years! The smell of vinyl continues to linger but that's alrght--I like the smell because it takes me back to my childhood when I're receive a new baby doll each Christmas. :) Great seller! Great product!

This mattress was easy to unfold and lay out in order to fill with water. It worked exactly as we hoped it would and feels like it will continue to work for us. And it came several days before promised!

Seems to be a very good quality thick vinyl mattress with reinforced corners, and didn't leak when I got it filled (always a plus). I gave it a rating of five stars for 'Easy to install', but let's face it - NO waterbed mattress of any brand is easy to install. The 'very square' corners defiantly made things easier, but it still took plenty of care, adjusting and raw strength to get it properly installed and filled - not an easy job for an old man like me :>( . I've been sleeping on a waterbed since 1973, so when my old mattress started leaking, I needed a new one. This mattress should last me for the next 15 to 20 years, if I live that long (as long as my wife's ear rings don't punch a hole in it).

As an aside, my mattress came in grey vinyl, not blue as pictured.

Took a while for the new "smell" to dissapate, which is not uncommon. Glad to be back in my bed.
