Bought this in August for a child to get to and from school easier (a short distance from home). Everything seemed fine. Couldn't really figure out how to collapse it; it was really hard and difficult to collapse it. Now I'm looking to return it/receive a refund because after using it only a dozen or so times due to inclement weather, the handlebars are sliding out easily yet are difficult to get put back in. The handles are not locking in place, and will slip out on just a light pull, which makes it VERY DANGEROUS to ride at all, even just down the street. The locking mechanism the collapse it and keep it collapse does not work. When in a riding position, when slight bit of pressure is put on the handlebars, the lock gives way and collapses the handlebar area, which again, makes it VERY DANGEROUS to ride for a child, let alone an adult which it can accommodate.

It was great when we first got it. Seemed sturdy and reliable. Thought it would last us a long time, seeing it can handle the weight of a full-grown man+. For only a 13-year-old, and it only lasts 4 months? This isn't worth it for this price. Seems we fell for a product we thought was made well and would be a favorite way to transport for a long time. We were looking into buying another around the middle of December for a friend of ours, but got sidetracked and bought something else, but that person's birthday was approaching, and we were going to purchase another again. I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND purchasing this at all. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Things I like:
* folds very quickly, easy to carry and get on/off transit, solid but not too heavy
* Attractive--doesn't look like a kid's scooter, more like an e-scooter
* Super easy to assemble, well designed in general
* Rides well, fits my height (5'10")
* Great value

Things I'd tweak (but not enough of an issue to knock it down a star):
* Deck could be a little wider, a little hard to switch kick feet while riding
* Squeaks a little bit
* I'd prefer hand brakes

Overall would definitely recommend. A good first choice if you're not sure what kind of mobility device you'll want longer term; I was thinking about an e-scooter or foldable e-bike and got this for a start and am glad I did to familiarize myself with roads. Even if I eventually get a more expensive device I could see myself using this when I want some light exercise.

I got the yellow Teen sized scooter. The yellow is a nice almost safety yellow color, though not quite as bright. The visibility is great!

The size is perfect for me at 5'4 120 pounds and a size 7 womens' shoe. If your feet are larger or you are over 150 pounds, I'd suggest sizing up to the adult size.

It rides nice. Easy to handle and can pick up some decent speed. It is very lightweight (less than 10 pounds) so I was worried it would feel chinzy, but it's pretty solid. Not like a heavy electric scooter, but great for the weight.

It's so easy to fold up and take with you! I use it for quick trips to the store and sometimes, instead of locking it up outside, I just carry it in with me. It's also great for the gym.

It's absolutely perfect for public transportation. I live just far enough from a SunRail station that walking takes too long, but driving and parking is a pain. Not only does this make getting there quicker, but (unlike a bike) i can fold it up and sit anywhere. Whith a bike I have to stay on the bottom of the train.

It's practically rideable right out of the box. You just have to insert the handle bars and adjust the stem height. Super Easy. The whole thing feels solid and sturdy without being heavy at all. I own a bike and wanted to add another low impact exercise to my routine. I figured this would be a great leg and glute workout.

Here's what I liked:
Good sized deck, comfortable handle bars, nice grip, easy to adjust stem height, kick stand doesn't interfere with the foot kicking on that side, easy to open and fold, light enough to carry and lift into my trunk with one hand.

Here are my issues:
1. no suspension and the wheels do not do well over anything on the sidewalk. If there was a stray piece of gravel, the wheel would slip. The traction isn't great.
2. The rougher the surface the the more vibration you feel. This probably wouldn't be noticeable to a kid or teen or someone without joint issues, but my body was buzzing when I got off.

It really is a good scooter, especially for the price, which is why I still gave it 5 stars. I just need something with good suspension and air filled tired to help mitigate the vibration. I think this scooter will work for most people and would still recommend it despite it not being a good fit for me.

Purchased scooter for my kids for Christmas. They LOVE IT!! This is their first scooter and it will grow with them. My 7yo son is 4ft 5.5in tall and daughter is 8yo at 4ft 9in and the scooters fit them perfectly.
