This reel has been by far one of my favorites, I own a multitude of reels from spinning to baitcasters, I do recommend 100% fluorocarbon line @20lb test throws smoothly and far, bite alert system is not too loud, not heavy, very amazing.

Best budget reels out there. I now have two reels because I enjoyed my first one so much. They are not top of the line obviously so they aren't the most smooth and easy to cast. But they get the job done and are great for the money. Mine have held up well over one year of use. And I do not take the best care of my rods

I bought three 6000 models and I put 250 yards of 50lbs braided line on them. They cast great with little effort. I mainly use them for catfishing and the biggest I've caught with them is a 57lbs blue cat and a 52lbs flathead and they brought them in with no problem at all. Next I'm going to buy three of the Piscifun spinning reels.

I've watched many YouTube videos on this reel. Finally decided to pull the trigger and buy one. Paired it with the 8ft uglystick catfish rod and, this thing is amazing. For a sub $100 combo, it feels like it cost soluble that. Reel holds plenty of line for a 5k series, is butter smooth even with heavy fish. Caught several 20+lb carp, and many double digit cats on my first trip out with it. Considering buying a couple more!!! Love the power handle!!!
