This thing is great; I wouldn't see any need to spend more on a different one. It's basically a large foamy/ soft plastic cover. It fits and is easy to get on and seems protective. The form-holding fill piece that comes in it was tough to get out though. A little handle on the back would make it perfect but it does come with a cord attachment.

I purchased mine as a Christmas present for my 9 year old. It seems very strong, but I can't really report on how durable because we have not had it long and it's not been through a whole lot. But I can say so far it has saved her tablet from what I believe would have been a cracked screen since she dropped it on our hard wood floors. I liked that as I was putting it on the tablet it didn't feel stretchy, it felt like one of those really durable iPhone cases I used to purchase! All in all I'm happy, she's happy and perhaps her tablet will last longer this time around.
