I bought this over six months ago, and really only came back to review it because I was very impressed that the battery actually lasted MORE than six months (and still has a little juice left).
After several theft attempts on one of my vehicles, I decided that I needed a GPS tracker.
Tried a Brickhouse, and the battery life, and accuracy of the GPS reporting, were pathetic.
Decided to give this Spytec (with the M6 extended battery), a go.
Now, there is a nonthly fee (which you can pay annually) that's not easy to find on their website, but it's basically $24.95/mo (or $19.95 per month paid annually). There's premium and elite versions of the plan that are $5 and $10 more respectively, and they report every 30 seconds or 5 seconds (the basic reports every 60 seconds).
You really just need the basic, for a vehicle, and 20 bucks a month is not cheap, but it IS worth it for the Spytec IMO.
Very accurate GPS reporting, with all kinds of settings for the alerts, and a very intuitive mobile app.
What I'm most impressed about, is that the extended battery actually lasted a little more than six months (after seven months, it got depleted, and the main battery on the unit has about 80% remaining)!!
Disclaimer: that vehicle was not moving for several months, so I'm sure that has something to do with the battery lasting so long because one of the settings is to have infrequent reporting if the vehicle is stationary.
So, in order to maximize on power savings, as soon as you purchase it, you might want to flip down the two switches closest to the LED of the extended battery (first one is to turn on the LED at all times, second one is to turn on frequent reporting even if the vehicle is stationary).
All this is in the instructions (fyi - there's no instruction manual in the box - just a QR code to pull up the instruction manual from the website - no biggie).
Also, the instructions say charging the extended battery pack can take up to 15 hours, though the light turns red to green after a couple of hours. I left it charging the full 15 anyway, just in case.

I have a box truck and a driver. Im able to see where my truck stops. How fast its going. The street or freeway it is driving down. I suggest anyone get this. With the 60 battery pack. The Best!
