This product worked great and was super easy to use - no mess and no fuss.
I struggled with a cheap manual hand-held kit which was nothing but trouble. Spent a bit extra to try this kit instead. The adapters and components seal tightly so there are no leaks. Hoses come with brass fittings with plenty of length. Applied a couple of trigger squeezes' and the brake line is purged. Couldn't ask for more.

works very well for the cost, and the fact it's both air and hand pump is very great. comes with a lot of different hoses. highly recommend. even seems to be built of good materials despite the low cost compared to the mityvac name brand one.

The product arrived promptly and appeared well made. It just did not work for me. I purchased it in order to change the oil in my boat which has a Mercruiser V6 (4.3L) stern drive engine. My boat is kept in a boat slip elevated on a Hydra Hoist so it makes it difficult to get to the drain plug of the boat in order to pull the oil drain hose through the drain to remove the oil. I was searching for a way to remove the oil from the engine compartment instead. All the videos and reviews I watched and read before purchasing the Oil Changer Fluid Extractor made it look simple and effective to use. It did not work for me. As the instructions described, I ran the engine for 5 minutes to warm the oil, removed the oil fill cap, and removed the dipstick. The dipstick on my engine was only large enough to accept the smallest suction tubing. I advanced the tubing until I felt it hit the bottom of the oil pan. I attached the suction tubing to the large tube of the extractor and pumped the handle 25 times. Only a very small amount of oil was able to be extracted. I tried retracting the suction tubing a little, readvancing it, pumping the handle periodically but nothing improved the effectiveness of the extraction. After over 30 minutes only about 100 cc of oil had been extracted. Maybe it works better with dipsticks that can accept the larger suction tubes. I hope Amazon accepts the return with a little residual motor oil in the canister. Very disappointing.

Update: Amazon and the seller both responded promptly to my issue and I was given a refund upon return of the product. Good costumer service.

My original review is below where I gave them just 2 starts. However I emailed the seller at "[email protected]" and complained that the seal had already failed and within 3 days I had a complete replacement unit in my hands, not just a seal. That is awesome customer service. I now give them a 5 star rating!

This worked great for a number of jobs. However, the seal only lasted about a year and then broke. Without the seal, there is no suction. I've searched all over for a replacement, but can't find one and their don't appear to have any contact info outside of their Amazon store front.

I've used Teflon tape to kind of make it work, but it's not simple trying to wrap that around it when it's all slick from brake fluid.

This could be a 5 star product if they sold a replacement gasket!

Easy to use, good customer service. Used to replace transmission, power steering, and brake fluids, plus bleed brakes by myself without assistance. Hand pump was fine to extract, but connecting an air compressor is the way to go. Had a minor crack in the external tube holder that did not impact performance; customer service sent a replacement the next day. Very happy with the product and customer service. the large reservoir was actually more than needed to pump out a transmission via the dipstick. The truck's maintenance manual says 7 quarts of ATF to fill if dropping the pan, was only able to extract 3.5 quarts via the dipstick.
