I was first surprised by the weight and quality, they are the consistency of a good quality mouse pad! I have an "older" Nesco dehydrator that's probably about 22 years old, but these sheets dropped right in perfectly, and fit edge-to-edge and lie flat with no gaps or buckling. I initially expected the sides to be somewhat taller, but they are the same height as the original trays, and in retrospect, for dehydrating: ( I'm currently using mine to dehydrate eggs,) Thinner is Better. The sheets drop into place easily, and pop out for cleaning just as easily, and because they are made of food-safe silicon, they clean up like a breeze. I have no doubt that these will not only serve me well, but last for many, many years to come. Easy-in, Easy-out, Easy-use, Easy-Clean, Better Quality than I expected. These get my Highest Recommendation!

We have been getting so many eggs from our chickens I was getting overwhelmed by how to use them. I have waterglassed some, frozen some and decided to dehydrate some to turn into an egg powder. These work perfectly in my Nesco dehydrator. I just blend my eggs, pour into the trays and about 12 hours later my eggs are done. I them put the dried eggs into a blender and turn into a fine powder and vacuum seal in jars.

The trays are flexible enough. I didn't think they would dehydrate as good because of their thickness. But they did. The only drawback is they are too wide for academy sports dehydrator and most dehydrators. If I could find the right size for a smaller dehydrator, I would purchase again.
