These would be great in a dramatic dark room. I put these above my teal cabinets and they looked TERRIBLE due to the bright gold inside. The gold really should only be paired with a very specific color pallet. I ended up painting the inside though & love them. They don't put off a ton of light even after trying many various bulbs. They could work in a lot of spaces none the less & would pair great with a black wall for a gorgeous moody ambiance.
