Enjoyed putting this together. Picture instructions were great, but would not recommend for under 14-15 year-old. Would have given it five stars if it came with two AA batteries, and a small tube of fast drying adhesive, which you will need.

The media could not be loaded. This was the best build from this company yet. I've built the eiffel tower, pirate ship, and phonograph. All of them have fallen apart. This one is much more sturdy than the others and you can actually tape and glue places you don't want things falling off without it being noticeable. The lights were extremely easy to install compared to the others, and the ship is HUGE! Find a good place to display it if you build it, it looks amazing!

As a Titanic aficionado, I stumbled across this on Amazon and decided to give it a try after seeing some photos uploaded from previous buyers. First and foremost I have to say I am really impressed that, for the cost, it is as detailed as it is. The instructions are very straightforward and if you are patient, it will likely take you a few days to put this together dedicating 2-3 hours per day. I have to keep reminding myself that this is a 3-D puzzle versus an actual model because there were some frustration points with the pieces not fitting together exactly as you would expect and even though it says glue is not necessary, I found myself having to use it on a few different points or the pieces would not stay in place. Even though it is advertised as paper, it is paper veneer both sides of a very thin layer of Styrofoam to give the pieces thickness and texture.

If you use the tool provided in the package, punching out the different pieces is fairly straightforward, but you have to be careful because it is not difficult to experience fraying or peeling on the edges of some of them. This is not a throw-together puzzle, this takes a fair amount of skill and dexterity to complete so don't expect anyone under the age of 15 to get through this without likely frustration.

The most challenging part of this model is running, installing, and seating the battery pack and wire for the LED lights"¦ however it is well worth the time and effort in the end because it completely makes this model a step above any other type of 3-D puzzle and the pictures I uploaded to this review hopefully show that!

I have gotten numerous compliments on this model and people are amazed that it is made entirely of paper.

In the end I believe it is well worth the price and I would totally buy it again and assemble a second one should something happen to this one now that I've been through the process!

Makes a good gift for the puzzle enthusiasts. Finished product is beautiful and lights up.

This is a very challenging puzzle that turns into a model. The instructions are difficult to follow. For advanced thinkers and model/puzzle builders only. Anyone under 16 years of age, unless they are advanced for their years will have an extremely hard time putting this together. Sometimes the tabs don't line up exactly right. Sometimes you have to improvise. And more often than not, you have to glue the stages as you go so they don't pop out. I managed to complete this puzzle/model in just under nine days. You will need things not suggested in the manual: tweezers, Xacto knife, glue, pliers, towels, tape, rubber bands and a heck of a lot of patience. For experienced, mature builders only. It was a challenge, but in the end the effort was worth it.
