Wire / cord guard

I purchased this wire guard to use in our attic. All of the walkways in our attic are free of obstacles except one small area where the electricians failed to properly route the wire and thus creating tripping hazard. The wire(s) are impractical to reroute so the next best thing is to use something like this wire / Cord guard. It works great and is able to accommodate several small gauge wires (security & doorbell plus two Cat 6 cables) across a walkway between an A/C unit and a Water Heater. Result is no more tripping hazard, it installed quickly and tolerates the high attic temperature without deformation or breakage. I would recommend this product.

It comes packaged in a way that when you first open it it's a little curved, if you use adhesive it'll flatten out over time, but in my experience it didn't lay completely flat. Overall a good product to prevent tripping though.

Rather than poking a hole through another rug in my home office to run wires underneath it, I decided to buy a cord protector this time. I'm glad I did. This new cover is somehow just big and heavy enough to lay flat and stay in place, while still looking great and being easy to put the cords through. I'm using mine for a heavy duty power cord and an ethernet cable. My cords run along my back wall for a foot, and then shoot out under my desk for a few feet or more. I had enough extra left over from the main run that I was able to also use the cover along the wall - which means my chair won't get tangled when I back away from the desk. I love the setup. Great product.
