Serviceable item, not high security, not silent, works for basic needs

This was easy to mount although we had to redrill the screw holes once to adjust the position for a better reach across our gate / fence gap. It does make a slight metal contact noise on use unless you take great care. This noise is amplified if it's mounted on a fence that in effect becomes a soundboard. Opening and closing is pretty easy although maybe a 2 year old would be challenged. If it's visible from the outside through a crack, it can be easily lifted by an outsider to open it using a long key, a paper envelope, a credit card, etc. so don't count on it for high security. However it may stop some solicitors.
Would not work for my application.
