First and foremost this product is exceptional quality for an exceptional price. Most red light devices don't have all three wavelengths and cost 5x as much. It has 2 rechargeable batteries and it's super portable.

My horse has an injury to his stifles and check ligament, red light therapy has decreased his swelling and edema NOTABLY in 3 5mins treatments. It must feel good because he stands perfectly still and doesn't fidget when he's getting a treatment.

A friend recommended this so I gave it a try. I am quite active and often get injuries from scrapes & cuts to soreness. I used it on everything from mosquito bites to bad scrapes & cuts and it does seem to quicken the healing process.

The media could not be loaded. I play guitar and have arthritis in my fingers. This device seems to loosen up my finger after 2 or 3 sessions. Is it the placebo effect? I don't think so since when I don't use it they remain stiff. However, this light can only be use for a small part of your body such as your fingers and maybe your elbow or knee. While the light is bright it does not cover a large area. It appears to be constructed well but the on/off button sometimes does not work. I have to push it several times to turn it on and other times it works well. I am afraid at some point it may stop and my rating would go way down. Also, it would have been nice if they included a power cord for the charger. I got a good deal on it and I don't know if I would have paid the full price.

Additional Information: I do not think this device will last much longer due to a faulty on/off switch. While I like the product if it will not turn on it is useless. Now I have to push numerous times and so far I eventually get the light to work. However, it is becoming worse and soon will not work at all. So reluctantly I have to change my rating from a 4 to 2. I give it a 2 because I do find it helpful when I can get it to work.

Update: Yes, it is getting worse. The sad thing is this light does help my hand when I can get it to turn on. Now I find if I open it for a battery and then close it, it sometimes makes it work. Soon I am afraid it will not work at all. It is not the battery since I have two and they are fully charged. I am afraid as a result I will have to decrease the rating to 1 star. While the light does help, if there is no light, then it is worthless. So far the company has not helped! I did receive an email from them and I sent two emails to them with two videos of the problem and so far I have not heard from them. This is obviously a defective item but since it worked for me I am going to look for another light. Anyone have any recommendations.

After the company responded to my question about the on/off button I sent my information as they requested. I have just sent my fourth email since they told me they could not locate my original email. I also posted a video on here that I sent them demonstrating how with a fully charged battery pushing the button did not nothing.

I see now why the price went down so much.

Update: I just received a new light from the company. And so far it works. I am happily surprised that I can now go back to my four star rating.

i have it for 8 months so far and it has been working well. Helped me in relieving joint pain and inflammation. I also used it on acupuncture points and got pretty good results.

I got the red light device yesterday. I wasted no time and used it on my ankle. My ankle hurts when I step on it and twist my body at times and other times it doesn't hurt. Well, after one time 5 minute use it stopped hurting. I can't believe it. If this was someone else's review I would say no way, they are full of beans...But no, it is true. Every so often I would get this pain and it is gone..I just finished my second session. The machine itself looks like is good quality, it comes with two weird batteries that looks kind of cheap, but are rechargeable and it comes with the device to recharge them. It has the glasses to protect your eyes, a nice sturdy box where everything comes in.. super nice. Unlike other product that come wrapped in plastic and you toss it, this stays all in that nice box. The device has a button that you press. it is timed for 5 min. you are supposed to wait one min to let it cool down. Someone else said that the device gets too hot, not the case for me. The device is perfect, you can touch your skin without an issue. I am very impressed and it is crazy that works like that. I was expecting a gimmick or that it would take many tries... I highly recommend it.
