Didn't want to ever have to use one of these. That being said, if ya gotta, this is a nice, compact, easy to use accurate machine. Requires very little blood too, which is a huge bonus.
If you hate being pricked, this is great.

I needed something to check my blood sugar, because I was having moments that were very reminiscent of low blood sugar.
I absolutely cannot STAND being pricked, and even the thought of my hands/fingers getting knicked is a huge "ordeal" for me (which is weird because my pain tolerance is pretty high normally). So, I went on a whim and grabbed this one and I am NOT disappointed. There is virtually no pain, and it's really simple to use. Just load a small needle, press a release button, and the included needles do the job! After one, or two times using the lance, I didn't even think about the process anymore!
The results seem to be really consistent and I've checked my blood sugar multiple times with no issues saving the information to the reader, or reading the results. As far as I know, it's best not to test back to back"” but even so I didn't have any qualms with the readings I got.
My husband used the monitor too, and his results were are consistent and easy to read.
My biggest like is the fact that this is mostly painless. Other brands I've tried are not really the same in that regard.
