Well I bought this as it said lifetime updates. It does mention them very little details. First the link if I can copy it. Well that changed the bling dots I'm sure just indicate drive is readable look for it on computer. Once you go to sight just download may unzip to the sd card in device.

We purchased the unit for the large 9 inch screen size so it would be easy for my wife to see the upcoming streets on the map. We use the unit in a car so we are not using all the load and milage features of the unit. But the screen is very clear and easy to read and you can easily see the names of the side streets that are coming up. The destination feature works very well just like any other GPS. Calculates your trips, gives you options for routes and clearly talks you through the turns as they come up. It has the capability to help you find, restaurants, gas, shopping, etc. which is a nice feature that we have used often. I have used car based GPS systems and major brand name GPS systems and this has the same level of quality. It is intuitive to use and only took me about 15 minutes to setup. We have not really used the music or other apps on the devices being we really needed it for the GPS features. Being the unit is so economical I would recommend this device for anyone who is looking for a GPS system with a nice size screen that is easy to read and quick and easy to setup.
