I've wanted a mug like this for a while, but was always put off by the type that have the holds glued on... since they eventually fail (these days, life provides enough drama and suspense, I don't need it in my coffee mug).
This one is bolted on, feels like it will last forever, and the metal is a bit insulating to boot. My only issue is that it's a little *too* easy to hold (a trickier/smaller hold might have been funnier, but realistically this is better and I don't need my coffee mug to actually improve my grip strength). Clearly I bought the thing as a bit of a joke for myself (plus one that I sent to a friend), but it's actually become my daily mug, and it's just the right size for the size of coffee I like.
Also, international shipping was weirdly fast!

At first I wasn't sure about the quality of the cup. I thought maybe the cup was just a thin bit of stainless steel, but found out that it's actually a pretty nice brim for your lips.
Furthermore, found it a nice surprise that it's vacuum sealed that works really well. Put some ice and water, and the cup on the outside didn't get cold, the water stayed cold, and the cup didn't sweat.
Pinch is a bit small of a pinch, makes it more like a crimp, but hey...I love crimps so... :D
If you don't wanna hold the pinch, it's nice a easy to grab on the stainless steel part and comfortable, especially because it didn't sweat.

The mug is everything that it is advertised as. I've wanted a mug like this for a while but never got around to buying one. I think this mug would be a good gift for a climber. The mug does a fine job at insulating my coffee; Certainly no worse than my ceramic mugs .The pinch hold is screwed on to the mug pretty well; I pulled on it outwardly pretty hard and it didn't come off :) The only thing I don't like about this mug is the price; I think the mug is a tad bit too expensive at it's current price ($20) The mug comes with a card from the owners of the company thanking you for supporting their "tiny climbing company"; It even has a picture of the two owners of the company on the card. I appreciate the card and think it's a nice touch.

Bought this as a white elephant gift to bring to my college climbing team's holiday practice. It's definitely a bit smaller than a standard mug, but still plenty large for a typical cup of coffee or tea. It's double walled and seems really sturdy, the pinch hold is cute and seems well attached. Perfect for a camping or climbing trip or even just as a novelty mug to use at home!
