Interestingly enough, if your idea of interesting is the finer details of paint drying, it flows much less than the part it replaced. Externally exactly the same, internally it must be slightly different because the water flows into the washer at ~1/4-1/2 the rate of the original part.

My 20 year plus Kenmore Washer start having problems, when I took it apart and began reassembling the various parts and hose, I decided to get this replacement part to make it easier for new hose to attach to the same. All is working well. NOTE - I highly recommend that if you get new hoses that you place plumber's tape on both outlets to prevent leaks. You'll be glad you did.
