I'm only on day 2 but so far, works great. Installation was super easy. I'm used to splicing wiring harnesses together and this was plug and play. Keep you posted if I run into any issues. Major appearance upgrade!

Seems like a good product but the wiring harness did not work for 2013 Toyota Sequoia Platinum. The JBL system needs the digital module which was included on one wiring harness. Another wiring harness was provided that matched the vehicle better but did not have the digital module. Maybe the two harnesses should be combined somehow but there are no instructions.

Update: Dasaita reached out to me and determined that I need a wiring harness that is not included with the product. They have offered to provide the harness free of charge. I give them five stars for customer service. I've updated the feedback rating and headline.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased this unit a couple weeks ago. Going to try and break this down to be very simplistic.

What you lose:
HD Radio Stations (i don't see the option to select different channels any longer next to the radio station I'm on)
XM Radio (you have to use the app)
Stock GPS (unit comes with it's own)
Stock Microphone (powered by old radio)
Maintenance schedule (not used by many people, but I used it).

What you gain:
Android Auto (wired/wireless)
CarPlay (wired/wireless)
Additional USB ports (3 total)
Digital Battery Voltage Information (if you enable this)
Ability to play video (netflix, amazon prime, etc)
Ability to download/load movies onto an external USB/Flash drive (you could transfer these straight to the unit as well from the USB)
Ability to view your backup camera at any time
Ability to mirror your phone

The options to change settings (like when the truck locks, how long lights stay on, or when they turn on, etc are still there.

Overall feedback:
Install was pretty straight forward. Everything you need is supplied.
I did not install the aftermarket microphone. This one has one up front on the radio, and so far nobody has complained about the sound of my voice. I did use the provided GPS (although you can buy a cable to continue to use the stock GPS). I just stuck mine up under the dash while I was installing the radio. Works great. The reverse camera connection is tricky, but basically the cable marked 10 in the pictures for "what's in the box" has a Front Camera labeled on it. You're going to connect this to cable 3 (also labeled).

Support:
Obviously English is not their first language, and because they are in China, the response time is generally during the late evening hours, but they have always responded to me within the same day.
Overall, I'm very happy with this. I can do much more with it than I ever imagined. An MCU Update was needed to stop a black screen issue I had, but that worked like a charm.

I bought this radio to replace the obviously lacking OEM stereo. I actually put an Alpine Halo9 in the truck (which was in when I put the Dasaita MAX10 in) that I was not pleased with. This is on a 2019 Toyota Tundra SR5 Off Road without navigation. The truck does have the factory amplifier under the passenger seat which I previously replaced with an Alpine KTP-445U.

The install is very straightforward and is less complex than installing an aftermarket head unit. I recommend searching YouTube for any radio installation videos for your year, make and model. On my generation of Tundra, you pop off the center console cover (starting from the arm rest), the lower trim where the cigarette lighters are and the HVAC controls. There are (4) 10mm bolts underneath the stock radio you remove and the radio will pull back out.

The Dasaita unit comes with a wire harness specific to your vehicle. There is no splicing or workarounds that you need to do. After plugging in the factory wires to the harness, you will need to connect the supplied yellow RCA for your reverse camera into the female port on the harness coming out of the Dasaita head unit. Again, these are all supplied and do not require you to do anything other than plug them in. There is a diagram sticker on the back of the radio that tells you which plug goes where on the radio. I did not buy a separate adapter (Toyota GPS to SMA adapter), which you could, to re-use the OEM GPS antenna. Instead, I used the supplied GPS antenna and mounted it under my dash, behind the radio near the glove box. Radio reception has been fine in this location.

Once the radio is installed, there is a "Vehicle Info" application that taps into the fuel economy items that showed on the OEM radio. It's not a feature I ever looked at but it is cool that the Dasaita unit is able to read the information. You are also able to access and change some of the vehicle settings like: Lock/Unlock feedback lights, Auto relock timer, Light sensor sensitivty, Daytime running lights, etc...

The MAX10 itself is very snappy with no issues of lag when switching screens or opening applications. The App Store is built in and uses your standard Google account to access/download applications. I am doing internet access off of my phone's hotspot. Apple CarPlay worked fine using the stock USB port near the cigarette lighters under the radio.

The only con that I have observed to the radio is the difference in gap between the radio and the HVAC controls which you can see in the photos. It's a bit different, which stuck out to me, but not a major concern. I had a few other people check out the unit in my truck to get their feedback. I asked them if anything looked out of place and one person pointed out the gap looked different.

I highly recommend the unit to anyone looking to upgrade their truck's stereo. The sound performance is significantly better. If you have the factory amplifier (even some non-JBL units received this) under your passenger seat, you will want to replace that to get another huge bump in sound quality.
