I bought these for my brother's girlfriend's daughter for school and panicked a little when they came in because they have to be able to hear the teacher while using them. Sooo I had to test them out. I put them on and plugged them up and let me tell you I fell absolutely in love with them. I am sooooo jealous I had to go grab me a pair and stick them in my cart. You can hear when someone speaks to you but you can hear everything going on with the pc perfectly and the mic is crystal clear when you speak. I would recommend these to anyone who has a child in school that needs a headset or for just general use at home for pc and/or gaming. They are amazing and the price is great too. My Grandson has the exact same set in black. Now granted we had to order the black set five times to get it but a wonderful headset for the price. Amazon was great about getting the black set replaced whether it was the thieves in this neighborhood or it actually got lost in shipping we have no clue but Amazon was super great about it all.

This headset has great sound quality as well as some nice features.
The mic connection didn't last longer than 6 months so that was a bummer but they're still going strong with the sound. My brother in law uses them every time he's over and prefers their sound to his nicer earbuds for listening to music!
The RGB lights are functional thru the USB connector that you can plug into your computer as well as a lighted mic. (I couldn't find a way to alter the lights but I wasn't too worried about that part. )
The headset comes with a splitter cable to use the mic and the headphones or you can just plug in the headphones if you don't want to use the mic. There is a volume control and mute for the mic on the wire and that comes with a Velcro strap as well.
All in all glad I went with these vs a more expensive set. I'm a big sound person and if I don't get the right quality, I'm not a happy camper.
Overall great purchase. If the mic still worked, I'd given these a 5 star rating.
