Bit of advice before review dont shred the cheese too fast or it may clog.
As for the product it is great I used it with harder cheeses and softer ones all block cheeses and it does what it is supposed to pretty easy to clean easier then a regular cheese grater. It all comes apart soft cheeses do clog it up if you dont shake out every half oz or so shredded. But as for the product it is as good as the 20$ one my friend bought but at a fraction of the price!

Update: the seller has refunded my purcharse based on my issues. Great customer service. I liked the sturdiness of the unit, but the crank shattered in my hand. This is the second unit that we have tried. The plastic crank lock is the failure point.

Looks a little cheap and is somewhat difficult to clean. However, I don't bust out the cheese grater at every meal, so to me it is good enough. I'll probably upgrade to a nicer one when this one breaks (because it definitely will, mine is already squeaking)
