Works Great. Easier to use than old way or even the pampered chef zester. Easy to clean. Do be careful- very sharp. Keep in cover when not in use. Price was good also.
Good idea is to pull over food instead of moving food back and forth ( save your fingers) it is stainless steel - this should prevent any rust when ages. We will see.

Definitely sharp! Maybe also not in a good spot.

I just took it out of the package. The first thing I noticed is it came with a guard. I didn't look into the specifics of the extras, I went with it based on reviews.
The zesting edge seems very sharp but the opposite edges are also sharp. Would have prepared if they would have given a slight curl to the backside edges.
Will try to update when I use it.
Later today: my homemade mayo required lemon juice so I decided to zest the lemons. Nice and sharp but after 2 lemons it was getting clogged a bit but I would expect that from any zester. It easily opened up with a few taps. The brush easily cleaned it and as long as it doesn't rust it will keep the 4 stars.
My only issue is the back of the zester being a little sharp. Use with caution!
Thank you for the helpful votes! Update 2/1/23. No rust! If you use it carefully it's well worth the purchase.

Love the glove that protects hands, good quality.
NICE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL - GREAT GIFT

I purchased this after seeing one used on a TV cooking show. It's large, hard to misplace, and an asset to the chef who zests a lot. It's a toy, however, in the kitchen of the everyday home cook. Nice to have, but a small grater is just as effective as this, and easier to store out of sight. Know someone who has "everything". This is the perfect gift!
Good addition to my kitchen tools

It is longer and sharper than my old one and produces a finely grated product which I like very much. It is taking a bit of time to get used to, as it feels a bit unwieldy, like you are grating parmesan upon a thin sword. I find using it with the end resting on a cutting board or in a bowl a bit more stabilizing and it makes quick work of cheeses, garlic, and even toasted bread (grating crumbs quickly to top a casserole or pasta without lugging and cleaning the food processor).
It hangs in my kitchen, like all the long tools that don't fit in a drawer do. I enjoy the glove and the plastic cover, making this so much safer and me more confident.
I use my own dish brush to clean it as the one provided made me laugh. It is rather tiny and would take forever, so it lives in a drawer with all those straw and bottle brushes, etc., for those times when I need to clean a crevice in a knick knack or window track, or even to toss after a single use on a really messy job like poop stuck in the cracks on the sole of your mate's shoe. Sometimes I like to have the option not to clean the thing I cleaned something with.
