I bought this stool to sit at my easel as I draw and had been previously using a much cheaper chair with worn out seat cushioning and ordinary plastic casters. Wow, was this stool ever an upgrade! The wheels are so much smoother and quieter, the construction is heavier and sturdier, and the seat cushion is much larger and more supportive than expected. The seat looks a little like a bicycle seat in the photos but is much wider and thicker in person. I'm very happy with this stool!
