The pump works great and is so quiet it can be difficult to tell it is on. Very happy with the pump. The only issue is that the plastic housing, more specifically the threads, are very thin and seemingly fragile. Be careful not to over tighten and to use teflon or PTFE tape.

Just used this pump to empty 7000 Gallons of salt water from a swimming pool in about 2 hours using a 35ft long pool vacuum hose. Pump is well built, but it is not a cast iron heavy duty one, and care must be used when installing/handling it. Power adapter quit working after 4 months but a replacement was sent in a timely manner.
Pump is extremely quiet, as long as no leaf debris get trapped in the impeller or around the impeller shaft, that also could cause the impeller to stall.
