This hut is perfect for our single broody hen, and soon to hatch chicks. It's small and fits into the corner of our climate-controlled garage. We built a nesting box for her, since this version does not include one. Excellent for price, and just as pictured and described. I don't think it would hold up more than a year or so outside, but where we plan to keep ours more as an enclosure rather than a shelter, it's perfect.

Comes very well packaged and clear instructions. I bought it to raise our chicks and keep them safe from our other larger chickens and hawks which looks like will be perfect for the job. Built well but definitely not very weatherproof. It comes with a nice roof but I plan on building a platform to put it on to extend the life of it. I've been raising chickens for years and have many large coops that are like tiny houses and this one will work well for it's purpose I've chosen but if your plan is to have more than a couple of chickens it is not even close to being large enough. Hope this helps.

I was looking for something like this for my ferret, as her tall vertical cage wasn't quite meeting the realities of her lifestyle. This is perfect. It gives her plenty of room to run on the bottom, and a dark space to sleep, plus it is easy for her to come and go as she pleases when the door is open. The only thing I didn't like was that the ladder has to be screwed into the hutch instead of being detachable for easier cleaning.
It went up easy, but I recommend having power tools. Some of the pilot holes were a little off, but no major problems. It seems sturdy and my ferret has yet to discover a means of escape.

Top water proof, bottom obviously isn't. Good space for my 3 bunnies. I wouldn't say predator proof. I think a medium to large size dog could knock this over easily. 4 stars overall for price and easy assembly, color. Look. And what I purchased it for. I didn't think that it would be predator proof or 100% water proof
