the hitch worked as expected, but i had a hard time installing it on my brompton seat post. the screws that it came with it seemed a little curved. and i had to really put pressure to tighten it. the hitch that came with my travoy (the hitch im reviewing was an additional one from amazon) installed perfectly and effortlessly. for some reason the one purchased as a second was bit of a struggle. it could have been me that perhaps got the angle wrong or something. but once installed, the hitch worked without-a-hitch ;).

You will get one hitch when you purchase the trailer. It is nice to not have to remount the hitch to another bike if you switch bikes depending on riding conditions. This "extra" hitch is nice but not necessary. A bit pricey.
Great for when you want to use your Burley Travoy with more than one bike.

I mounted one on the seatpost of my Brompton folding bike, and it works just great there "“Â I can still fold the bike with the hitch in place. I mounted another one on a Bontrager rear rack, and it fit in some of the mounting holes designed for lights/etc. Works great, and it's heavy and high-quality!
