Fantastic Foot Massager
Lisa✓ Verified Purchase•November 5, 2023
Received massager ahead of schedule. It was packaged really well. I love the various settings. There are lots of choices. It fits my size 8 foot and my grandson's size 11 foot with lots of room to spare. It has lots of pressure and massage fingers. It heats up beautifully as well. My grandson spent a hard day skiing and when we returned home he took the massage unit to his bedroom where he said it worked wonders on his sore feet and legs.
Highly recommend this unit and this vendor. They did an excellent job of getting item out quickly.

UPDATE: I spoke to David from Miko and he did a great job explaining what had happened with my purchase on Amazon. I had no idea about other vendors selling the Miko brand and harming their company's image. He was more than willing to help me return the first unit and purchase a new one directly from Miko which will hold a full warranty if anything happens, but I trust that this will be great. Just as a note, buyers to beware of sellers imitating the brand and make sure to confirm it is coming directly from MIKO to ensure you have great customer service backed by their dedication to helping customers.
My previous review: I was so excited to receive this product, as I as told by my doctor and a stretch lab that I need to massage my foot to prevent pain from impacts of daily life and working out. The first day I got it, I used it on both my feet and calves for almost an hour! Amazing feeling and so comfortable. I love it's sturdy design and ability to be adjusted to different areas (foot, calves, ankles)
However, after using it almost every day since my purchase, my only complaint is I feel as though the left foot size fits snug but the right foot does not. Which makes it feel like I need to constantly move my right foot inward to get the same massage as my left. And if I do not move it, the right side of my right foot does not feel anything.
I attempted to contact the manufacturer Miko but was told that I did not purchase from an authorized store as it came from Fanci Innovations LLC (Which is confusing since I purchased directly from Amazon and despite it not indicating any third party) Due to this, Miko stated there was nothing they could do and to contact the seller and yet support on Amazon says to contact Miko. I just want it to work the same way it did on day 1.

This brought life back to my numb neuropathic feet

I waited a week of 2x daily use to write this review after seeing so many "used it once & love it" reviews (worthless) & "bone crushing" reviews (poor understanding).
I've been suffering from neuropathy for ten years that has numbed my feet and ankles. I walk by lifting my knee and my foot goes forward.
After using this device for a week I can quite honestly say that using this has a cumulative effect on my feet AND ankles. They are feeling better and better. Looser and looser. They move more like they used to. I am grateful for this.
To address the "bone crushing" reviews, I will say the instructions included are terrible. The best instructions are printed on the sticker on its face and those are confusing. Major concept: the function that controls the amount pressure exerted on your foot is the air pressure. The shiatsu rollers don't move up, just around. The airbags do the main work. The lights that show the settings from lightest to firmest are: flashing blue, blue, green, flashing red, and finally red. This isn't really clear on the label.
Pro Tip: It takes time to understand this device.
My first experience was eye-crossing painful because of three things:
First that the air pressure is the boss and I didn't know it.
Second that my feet took ten years to reach this level of dysfunction. When I have them worked on at physical therapy or by a masseuse, the pain and discomfort are just as unbearable. If it took ten years to get here, it will take a long time and many treatments to help fix them and those will be painful. First consider how bad the condition of your feet are before blaming the machine.
Third, the way you you use it makes a huge difference in your comfort and ability to even use it. Sitting in my easy chair, I could hardly bear it on the lightest setting. Sitting on my bed with my legs slightly dangling, I could use it on my feet at the firmest setting.
It's the same with using it on your calves and ankles. Experiment with the positions. For me, laying down worked best. I turn my legs as well to get to my shins. Think and be creative when using this device.
In my opinion the best first experience to have is to use the "air only" setting with no massage and if your good there, move up the settings.
The machine is very well made and weighs a whopping 25 lbs. If you are going to use it as often as I do, I recommend to get the replacement warranty as it has a lot of hard working parts and no way to interact with those parts.
The foot massager (I call it "Helga") is surprisingly effective. It initially was extremely painful to use and gradually I've come to grips with how to use it to my benefit. I'm finding that using it has a cumulative effect. My arch went back in position. My circulation is better, my feet don't seem quite so cold. My ankles are looser as the knots have been kneaded out of my feet and aren't pulling them as tightly. In all I have more flexibility and feeling after seven days of twice a day. I'm also using essential oils on my feet every day.
Bottom line for this machine is it is a game changer when used the right way. I don't feel like I'm headed for a wheelchair anymore. That's a pretty big deal to me.

I saw this as a gift for my wife this Christmas, and after finding it on Amazon for almost 1/2 off, I decided to to get it. She has to stand a lot at her job, and is always complaining about her feet hurting when she gets home. No it's not Christmas yet, and here I am writing a review.
I will say it's a big box, so when I lugged it into the house, I had no place to hide it. She saw it when she got home, and asked what it was. I said it's your gift. It was in a nondescript box, so she had no idea. It was there a week when she said she couldn't take it any longer, she had to have it.
The unveiling couldn't have come at a better time because her feet were hurting her. After a few minutes, she said she wasn't sure, and went into the other room. So there it lay....
The next day, after my morning walk, I decided to give it a try. Wow!! It was wonderful. I will say the remote is kind of funny. Usually when you think remote, you can be across the room, and boom, turn on the TV. Not with this, you have to be about one and half feet from the device, or closer. So if you're sitting, and it's transforming your feet from something you'd like to cut off to something that feels good, you can bend over, and point it at the device, and it will work, but other than the remote, it's totally worth it.
The pressure, and heat are really good. I like the pressure all the way up, as it allows the shiatsu portion to knead the bottom of your feet, and it feels wonderful, along with the vibration which moves from side to side, along with kneading motion.
So the only con, is the remote, but everything else is a fiver. I usually don't like these feet devices, but this is first one that really works.
That takes care of me liking it, so we left the wife back a few paragraphs, walking away from it. Let's just say, she has the same opinion that I have now. She gave it another try, made a couple of tweaks in it for her personal settings, and now after work, she sits there for the prescribed 20 minutes letting it work its magic on her feet, and she's a believer now.
So we're both happy, we both use it, and neither has any complaints about it. It's a good investment if you have stand, or like to walk. Thumbs up!

Works better than I expected, with a couple of catches

I only just received this thing last night, so I can't speak to the durability or quality yet, though initial impressions are overall good. I'm diabetic and bought this to deal with some nerve pain in my feet and toes, and I'm honestly over the moon that so far it's really helping. I was able to fall right asleep last night for the first time in weeks, not bothered by tingling/achy feet.
It's a little misleading that it fits up to size 15 feet; I'm somewhere between 12 and 13 wide, and while my foot does fit, the massage bits stop a little short if put my whole foot in. It's not a big deal, I just take my heel out and get the ball of my foot and toes over the massage wheels and still get the relief I need, but just know that you'll need to find your own groove if you have bigger feet.
The heat function is pretty weak. It's almost not noticeable, especially if you're wearing socks. It doesn't seem like it was worth the added complexity to include when it does so little.
The calf massage function is nicer than I was expecting, and I've used that almost as much as the foot massage. The vibration function really comes into its own in calf massage mode; I didn't really notice much benefit to the vibration when it was massaging my feet, but it definitely helped relax my ankles as it massaged my calves.
Overall build quality isn't bad; so far there's no creaky plastic, grinding parts or obvious flexing or stress as it works. It's heavy enough to stay in place, but not burdensome to pick up and move. For some reason it came with two identical remotes, neither of which have a good battery in them. Two remotes implies they expect them to break. I put a new CR2025 battery in one and it started working, but it's not a great first impression. I wish the power cable were a little longer, but the brick takes a standard C13 PC power cable, so you could always find a longer one of those.
There are a few nitpicky things about this that I wish were better, but at the end of the day I bought it to help with foot pain and it does, so I'm happy. Hopefully it holds up, but it's 2023 and this is Amazon, so I know what to expect. I'll try to remember to edit this review to add my longer-term experience later.
