We use these for meals at our local Senior Center. They're perfect! Good price and great value. Easy to use and people love these potatoes.

We love these potato pearls! In fact, my husband prefers them to fresh potatoes. No more baked potatoes, either. I make some potato pearls and we dress them as we would a baked potato "” Delicious and so very quick and easy!

The easiest mashed potatoes you will ever make! Tasty, but I find I need to add a bit more water than they say. I will be taking these camping this year for sure!

These are THE best instant potatoes. Our food service rep walked in our door 20 years ago with these and told us, "Give them a try. Trust me." We did. We had a catering job the next weekend. We dumped these into the pans, added boiling water, covered and walked away. Five minutes later, we came back and tested them. AMAZING. We added some pats of butter and some Canadian steak seasoning, stirred them up and sat back and watched the response.
EVERY person who came back for seconds also got potatoes.
Our customer thanked us for the "extra effort of making real potatoes". We reminded her she had ordered instant potatoes, and that's what she got. She said, "Yes, I know these are instant but they taste REAL ... like real made-from-scratch! My guests think I splurged on ordering made-from-scratch mashed potatoes!"
I make real mashed potatoes for my family most "special meals", and we like lumpy mashed - more like smashed. But all other meals, for the past two decades, have been these potatoes.
Follow directions. The manufacturer knows their product and has gotten plenty of feedback from customers. If you want something less thick, yes, add more water to suit your desired results. Or, add butter, sour cream, mayo, etc.
Pro-tip: once they are set, get creative. Add pats of butter and let them melt. Add some steak seasoning. Maybe add herbs. Shredded cheese. You name it. They are great on their own but I use them as a base and then build on them.
