This is a great radio, but I believe it was used, I paid for a new one price too, since it did not come in a manufacturers box & had no instructions with it at all. There were scratches in the radio, & the remote had rubbed on color of the radio on it. If Amazon is selling used items, they need to have it clearly on the for sale description. Least I was able to get the instruction manual from the company. For the price, it should not have been this way. I liked the turquoise color and was the reason why I bought it in the first place.

I had been searching for a retro style radio that was also a CD player AND had Bluetooth so I could hook to a music app. So many were too large for the space where I wanted a radio. Found this adorable radio- which comes in several colors- but I felt black was truest to period- and would fit in with our new early 50s era kitchen reno. (Our countertops are red, so red seemed too redundant)
It has good sound quality, and is somewhat easy to use. Setting up to get to Bluetooth the first few times sent me back to the instruction booklet each time... as you have to hold the Mode button down for a certain length of time... but now it's old hat.

I made a choice to purchase this model over the more expensive similar big-name brand only because this model has USB ports and the big-name brand that looks almost identical did not. I had purchased the other brand in the past and find the similarities between the two products amazingly alike. The sound quality is not quite as good as the other, not as loud as I would have liked, which was in reality an expectation. BUT the sound quality is adequate and not disappointing or tinny. It is still a bit pricey, but overall, I would recommend it to a friend.

I love that it is cute and I have the radio, cd player auxiliary for my sirus radio, all in one I can also use the auxiliary for my I pod, I haven't figured out the bluetooth yet but this is nicer than having all kinds of different players the sound is fine to me, I don't need anything major
