With my son just getting into hockey figured this would help him. Since setting it up he's spent hours daily on it learning to balance, skate, and stop. There is not a day that goes by Im not asked to use it. Overall I highly recommend it

This stuff is awesome. I really didn't know what to expect.
The first few "glides" with skates were strange but it got easier after more use. It also seemed to get slicker and the puck started moving better.
It isn't ice but it is a good substitute while I can't go to the rink.
The only real negative is cost to size (although I do think it is worth it for the price). There is not a whole lot of room to maneuver (I bought the 20 panel kit), but enough to do some stick handling and shooting. But since they are so easy to assemble, you can configure the kit in an arrangement that will work best for you.
I ended up buying the 10x10 kit direct since I know I want the extra space to maneuver and to give the kids space to play together, can't wait for it to get here!
I'm trusting this stuff lasts as long as advertised, but so far so good!
