Nice template but came with damage.

I like the template, however after opening the product I saw that it was covered in scratches. I'm still able to read everything on the template but would prefer to it to not have already been damaged. Still keeping it but....watch out.
Turns out that there was a film that I could barely see on the template. Scrapped that off and the template is perfect. Adjusting the rating.

The product appears to be well designed for D&D grid maps. However, mine came with a chip or nick defect on it, so I will not know how effective it is to use for the grid maps. How is this even possible when it was bubble wrapped, boxed over that, and was in a bubble wrap envelope?
The return process is tedious. It requires multiple email confirmations. One to create an account and register the product. Takes hours for them to confirm. And finally one for them to decide the next course of action.
This would've been a 4 or even a 5 star review because it is an actually cool product to have for D&D. But, quality control and the return process is why I gave it 2 stars.
EDITED: I finally received a defect free template, so I'm bumping the rating to a 4 star. Would've been a 5 star had it not been a hassle filling out online registration for the product in order to return the defective product. Next time have a return label included, so anyone can just state the problem and drop it off at the post office on the same day.

Great product, easy to read and exactly as described. When you first receive you're going to think you got a scratched up and bad product, but it's covered in a airtight plastic seal. Once you peel it off both sides it looks flawless!
