Follow the instruction manual and you’ll be pleased

I was really torn when I decided to purchase this tower. I'd heard horror stories about pieces not fitting together properly and I was afraid I'd end up with a jumble of scratched, dinged garbage that I'd paid good $$$ for. Turns out the devil is in the details. The absolute KEY to assembling this product correctly is in the instruction manual. Namely: only lightly finger-tighten during assembly. If you get too ambitious with tightening any one component, it can seem like the whole set up has been drilled wrong and will never fit together. Take your time, assemble it in order and it will take less than an hour. It's a one-person job and even when the tower is finished it's less like a hulking behemoth and more like a sleek elegant fitness tool. It IS for strict, controlled movements. No swinging or rocking or going crazy on this thing. If you keep all this in mind, this tower is good value for the price.
Very strong Free Standing Chin Up bar!!!!

Really good deal for the price. I am 6'2" and 240 lbs so I wanted a really sturdy free standing pull up bar. This unit fits the bill. It came professionally packaged with an excellent paint job. Assembly was straight forward and unit is much sturdier than the others I have seen at the big sporting goods store. I do recommend you secure it to the ground. Since mine will stay indoors, I put down some rubber/foam workout room style tiles, bought a peace of sanded plywood (I chose sanded to prevent splinters if I go barefoot). I secured this unit to the plywood with 1/2 inch carriage bolts with 3" wide washers to help even the load (this way there is no change of pulling carriage bolt through plywood if you put an extreme load on it). The nuts I used are free spinning, not the kind with nylon inserted in them since the carriage bolts will spin slightly when you put a large washer between them and plywood.
A few of things to keep in mind:
1. The pull up bar is pretty thick and will probably need some type of grip added to it. I just used tennis overwraps since I already had them.
2. When assembling, it can be difficult to line up a couple of the holes. You want to install all nuts just finger tight until the end to ensure you can wiggle the holes to line up. In one case that was not enough so I had to use my legs to get two holes to line up. Probably could have taken it back apart and reassembled in different order, that likely would have worked.
3. Before bolting this down I never was able to get it to tip over but could get to rock when doing aggressive swinging chin ups. I do one leg squats with the help of a strong resistance band. I was able to get the unit to tip over doing this (I did this on purpose to test it).
4. Once it is bolted down it is muchhhhhhhhhh sturdier than any other freestanding unit I have seen.
5. You can add a bar between the dip bars if you want to do Australian chin ups. If you look closely at the picture you will notice I have a bar there.

The media could not be loaded. Before I start this review, I am 5' 8" and 175 lbs. I have 4 years of experience in powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting. Coronavirus has closed down gyms and I have always expressed my interest in developing skills in calisthenics. The pull-up grips are at my fingertips when my arms are extended, and the dip bars are directly below my chest for those who are referencing. Specific fitting dimensions are provided in the description. If you like what you see, buy it. It is worth the price and an investment for in-home fitness.
It is a great power tower; sturdy, easy to assemble (1-2 hours), and durable. My week of working out, the tower has withstood Carolina winds, near-freezing temperatures, and hours of sunshine. No visible damage has shown. The "plyometric box" attachment was "defective" for mine and cannot be screwed in on the right side. This is not an issue as I prefer to keep it unscrewed since it takes too long to screw and unscrew the posts.
The biggest flaw I see in the power tower is the lack of a straight bar. The pull-ups are WAY TO WIDE for me, and the chin-ups are positioned awkwardly. I wanted and still want Stamina's green power tower (Stamina 65-1460). With a straight bar, I can be more creative with gymnastic rings and allows me to practice my muscle up form. I did not purchase the power tower's older model since it has been sold out for weeks following COVID-19. I wish Stamina would release accessories for this power tower such as a straight bar (muscle-ups, various grip positions), sit-up foot holder (nordic curls, crunches), and maybe a cup holder (a designated spot for the star-key used to secure the plyo box). I would be more than willing to pay for these in order to widen my training capabilities. So if anyone in Stamina is reading this and you want a product tester, feel free to hit me up. However, looking at Stamina's line, I do not see that many attachments, and it seems unlikely.
Attached is a video of me testing out the tower and photos with it in angles not show in the other photos.

Great product

A real commercial product that is very strong and well designed. I would have liked the straight bar at the top but this design works well. unit is very heavy and the jumping platform is very stable. Easy to put together but I would not tighten anything until the end. It will be easier to line up the holes. Even with its weight it should be bolted down. I used 24 inch studded earth anchor bolts to mount in grass and it works great. Very stable.
Sturdy, easy (not quick) to put together, good for intended workouts.

Pros:
-Feels solid
-Like the jump box
-Simple assembly (1-2 hours of screwing with provided Allen wrench)
Cons:
-No straight top bar for more pull-up options
-Wish the dip bars were a little longer
-Bottom plastic caps for plyo box joints have to be removed for lowest plyo box setting
I have had this for a week. I'm glad I purchased. They could have easily put a straight bar across the top for more pull-up it options. Poor/lazy design for plyo box joint caps as they must be removed for lowest plyo box setting.
I weigh about 175 pounds and it holds me well. Feels like it can handle serious weight.
If the manufacturer sold a straight bar for the top I would buy. Seems very feasible.
