If you're like me, you probably shrugged off products like this and got by with standard punches or even micro screwdrivers in some weird cases! Lol! Improvising how to remove the roll pin is usually pretty easy. Reinstalling it without the proper tools? Pssshhh! Good luck. It can be done but they get mangled to all hell. Do yourself a favor and buy this. It's a life saver, BELIEVE ME! It's a must for building/maintaining AR's and detail stripping various handguns.

Overall this is a great buy, the punches are very handy when working on firearms and they are built well. The punches and hammer stay in the case and hang like that on my workbench pegboard. You can't go wrong with this set, I've also used these punches on non roll pin applications and they work well if you aren't really driving on something that could damage the ball at the end of the punch. The bonus block that comes with it is made of good materials and is soft enough so it doesn't scratch finishes on your firearms.
