My wife snores like a lumberjack. I bought the Dohm white noise generator to drown out the noise. The sound quality is very good, but it is not nearly loud enough for the task - including when it is placed between us or right by my head. It has two fan settings, with an additional adjustment on top to adjust the air flow and sound. It works great in an otherwise quiet room - which mine is not. It seems sturdily built.

The sound quality is slightly better than the new model and the original design has a tighter outer shell fit for sound adjustment. The one I received was a bit beat up though around the edges of the middle outer adjustable shell so will just swap for one in better condition.
