I like these Core shakes. I've tried the vanilla (and Elite), chocolate (and Elite) and strawberry-banana. They are all good. With 6-8 g of carbs they work as an occasional treat on my low-carb diet. I've put them in an ice cream maker to get nice soft serve within an hour or so. Then put it in the freezer for up to a couple of hours more and it is still soft enough to eat. Makes for easy prep for company. It you leave it in the freezer too long it turns hard as a rock (not surprising). But by leaving a frozen cup out for 1/2 or 1 hour or perhaps just a little heat in the microwave works, but not as good as soft serve, freshly frozen. I also like the shakes chilled in the freezer as a cold drink.

From a taste perspective, this stuff is great. A few times as a child we would take fresh snow and mix with milk, sugar, and vanilla extract to make 'snow cream'. This beverage reminds me a lot of that, nice. No complaints with this product, I just wish it was a little cheaper.

I get these for cereal in the mornings. Adds a nice vanilla flavor to my granola, or Special K protein cereal. Great on protein, and far better then any protein shakes on market. I've gotten my wife, and sister both hooked on them.
