It contains more items than I really needed. I haven't used all the items yet. The batteries are useful and the charger. The monopod is proving handy, more so than the tripod. (I already had a tripod.) The lenses have good clarity for my purposes (not to say that there is anything wrong with the clarity, just that they work fine for me). But, except for wide-angle lens with the macro attachment, I haven't really used the other lenses much except to attach them, look through them, and view test pictures through the camera. The color filters, I'm not sure what to use them for, so I'm probably not going to use them. The closeup lenses I haven't used much yet, but seem to be work fine I got all the items, and I am still trying them out. I'm a novice photographer who is still developing an eye for good pictures, but I'm am happy with the items I received.

If these items were purchased seperatly you would be spending 3 to four times the price of this kit. The only thing missing is a skylight filter to protect the lens of your camera!
