Great pump.

So far I have loved this pump. The learning part of it is interesting but not hard. Once you get the hang of it they're awesome! I had read alot of negative reviews so here are some things from my experience. The app is finicky. It has a hard time staying connected to the pump but my phone kinda sucks too. I dont like using the bags cause I dont produce enough for them and since they aren't reusable, I feel like I'm wasting them. The reusable cups are the trickiest part because of the air vent. Also very hard to get all the milk out. All that aside, these saved my supply. It does take longer to get milk but you're not tied to a wall or a pump you can't move around with. My daughter has definitely made me test the leak proof and i have not had a leak with the bags. Obviously the cups leak if you bend too far forward but other then my own stupidity on that they dont leak. I use the torrid nursing bras and they're great for holding them in place. They're super quiet compared to my other pumps. My husband didn't even know I was pumping. All in all I'm pretty impressed with these pumps.
Pretty darn good, little things to improve

Willow was the only reason I was able to keep pumping while round in a NICU without completely disrupting the entire team's workflow. It's not perfect, and it wasn't my full time pump (I think it 95% emptied me) but it was pretty good, and got me more than enough milk plus a freezer full to keep using after I stopped pumping.
It's portable. It's leak proof. It's very easy. It definitely did not work for me straight out of the box. I had to play around with 19mm inserts (ouch) before finally realizing that beaugen cushions in the 21mm flange were my magic ticket. And then it was great. I pumped rounding, doing procedures, running resuscitations, in the OR, in the car, on the beach, on planes.... Everywhere.
But the bags (which I never once used) are stupidly expensive and the containers have deeply curved edges that are a pain to clean, and the valves can get gunked up. It was hard to tell if flextubes were worn out or I just wasn't getting a good letdown sometimes, and these parts are expensive. It does seem that other pumps last longer.
In 10 months I did have to get two replacement sets of hubs through the warranty due to cracks. That's just silly, although it was easy, no questions asked. They really need to figure out what's causing so many people to get these cracks on such an expensive product.
I would buy this again. It's not perfect, but once you figure out a system that makes it good enough, it's so liberating and the only reason I was able to continue breastfeeding.

Just buy it.
I read all the reviews. Compared other wearable pumps. Talked to those I knew who tried this brand and others. After much consideration I tried it.
I work in a warehouse setting. Im a manager and only get one 30ish minute lunch break for my entire 9 hour day. So I needed something discreet, portable, and successful at expressing my milk for my little squish.
Seeing many of the reviews had me worried this pump wouldnt express my milk as well as a standard pump, but after only 3 uses I noticed I was getting almost double what I was able to with my medela! Its smart technology just works for me and gets the most milk out.
It is a learning curve. Do your research because it is nothing like a regular pump. I read the manual front to back. Had someone else read it. Watched all the videos. Read articles. With all that I still had a hard time figuring out how to use it at first. (Look up flip to finish) now though I will never go back to any other pump.
If you are a "just enougher" this pump might not be for you. It is almost gauranteed to waste a couple drops because of the design.
The Willow pump site is a great resource for any issues you may have and a library of videos if youre a visual learner.
If youre getting this solely for the app aspect first make sure your phone is compatible. Many still aren't. Mine isnt and even tho I dont like the idea of the app it would have been neat!
I wear mine with my nursing bras (which is what willow reccomends) and its secure. Iv fed my baby. Held my toddler. Cooked. House chores. Grocery shopping. Iv never had an issue. Now it isn't as quite as advertised but it doesnt wake my sleeping baby laying in my arms right beside it.
Also I 100% recommend the containers which is what I mostly use. Even tho theyre not 100% spill proof like bags iv found theyre pretty hard to spill milk out of anyways.
All in all I highly recommend this pump.

Okay I've waited to write my review!!! After I had my baby a nurse at the hospital informed me about the willow breast pump! She told me the price, she told me it's a learning Curve but she loved them. I gave it some thought and kept plugging the wall breast pump in for a few months when I could. Well I wasn't keeping up with my baby, I was missing my pump schedule because my schedule was busy! I thought about it and thought about it, i needed something that I could have more ease. I decided to go with the Willow. The willow is a game changer! If you are a mama on the go and you pump every three hours these are for you! I still have my wall breast pump for back up but I mostly use my willow. I work a FT job, and college PT and my daughter is three months old. I wasn't pumping like I should with the wall pump because I was go go go! I got the willow and was scared because of all the reviews!!! Well there is always going to be bad reviews! I finally have learned my willow and more milk is being stored in my freezer finally! Yes I have had mishaps, but it really helps when you watch the videos and research. I definitely would say buy the reusable containers the bags get too expensive the containers I just pour into my wall breast pump bags and freeze the milk. I ordered my flange sizes to small in the beginning, and you can tell because your nipples are sucked so hard they feel like there going to fall off! But as soon as I ordered the correct size it was fine!!! When I get the error messages I don't stress out I always check my app and do what it says and I'm up and pumping! It's an investment but I would take this over a cord anyday. One thing I would change is they need two chargers or one that has two connections... I've had to replace one of my Willow's because it started making a loud noise but the process was so smooth! I never missed a pump with the exchange process. Yes, I've spilt a little milk, yes I have flipped the pumps over before changing the one to two and spilling a little milk. Yes I've bought the wrong flange sizes, yes I've spent money! But it's worth it! I pack them up and take them every where I go! Does it make my boobs look bigger! At Times yes but they fit under my shirts, or I'll wear a sweater or jacket to cover. Are they loud? At times yes, I think they are louder with the containers than the actual bags. Can you bend over? With the containers you have to squat, the bags I could do almost everything. I love that the app keeps track of my history. Suction. Well sometimes it's uncomfortable and the suction maybe a little stronger but after I changed sizes the process was better.
Despite all “complaints†I’d choose the Willow every time

Overall I am satisfied with this pump. I mainly got it with the purpose to be mobile with my toddler and newborn and not be tied to an outlet and to be able to use it when I go back to work. So far it has allowed me to move around and clean and take care of the kids still while pumping!
When I first got my pump it worked great and then one of the pumps kept saying "connection error" and the more time that passed the worse the issue got. It would sometimes take 10-15 minutes to finally get the pump to attach to my breast. All pumping moms know that is not okay! I reached out to Willow support team and they sent me a new pump and I have not had the issue since.
It only holds 4oz per pump with isn't a lot. BUT with properly working pumps it only take a minute to empty the containers and reconnect to continue the pump session.
The pumps have a very strong suction: even on the lowest setting. For me it is quite uncomfortable and I could even say it hurts. It has cracked my nipples and makes them sore but with proper nipple care between pumps it's okay.
I have very large breasts and my chest does look a bit ridiculous while wearing the pumps. I think it's hard to find a good supportive nursing bra to hold large breasts and the pumps. For large chested women it does limit your arm mobility (it's hard to bring arms together in the front). It is not as quiet as I thought it would be but if your environment is a bit noisy it'll drown out the sound.
I'm not a huge fan that you can only charge one pump at a time, I think it would be beneficial to provide a charger that has the capability to charge both at the same time.
Despite my "complaints" I would choose the Willow every time simply for the fact it allows me to be with my kids and not have to put life on hold while pumping.
