Works well

I had a long drain run before the vent stack, so I installed this under the sink to help with venting. It works well with no drainage problems.
Easy to Install and a Great Value

Bought this to resolve a minor sewer gas smell when first running faucet in a bathroom drain. This kit includes plenty of adapters, washers and miscellaneous parts to connect to 90% of current drain setups. This kit is a great value as purchasing all the parts separately would cost about $60-70 at today's current prices for plastic goods. Very easy to install: take a picture of your existing drain, remove existing drain (check inlet in wall or floor for debris, clean as necessary), build a new layout with the included parts, Done! It solved my problem. Only taking off one star as the instructions are a bit vague for beginners.
Does help prevent the septic odor

I needed to buy a few different parts to connect this to my plumbing. However, it is probably because the previous owner of my house used some non-standard size parts. I needed this because the previous owner didn't vent the master bath sink properly and we had a septic smell that would back up. This eliminated the issue!
Works

Did have to shorten it about 1/2 an inch to fit in . Works so I didn't hurt it . Compared to doing some tear down to put in a vent , probably samed me a couple hundred . That's me doing the work .
