When I used on the top of my thigh it caused a vein to burst, which resulted in a 3" circular bruise. I returned it. The style was easy to use though.

This is the perfect product both for calming muscle fatigue and wellness. As someone who has recently been injured, and has picked up an exercise bike for cardio, this is the perfect tool to use before a workout and for recovery. There are multiple heads that allow to get into that annoying muscle knot and allow for greater range of motion and less muscle fatigue. I typically will use this for about 5 minutes prior to exercising as well as after exercising.

During the pandemic, anxiety is at an all time high - I started using this last night before I go to bed on my shoulders and back, and feel much more at ease before going to sleep. Highly recommend adding this to your wake up or night time routine.

I had no idea how much this purchase was going to change my daily struggles with chronic pain. I have a pretty unlucky combination of degenerating issues following a lifetime of intense sports+ two epic accidents+ chronic anxiety that mostly manifests as muscle tension. I spend an average of 4-6 hours every weeks shuffling back and forth between a massage therapist, chiropractor and physical therapist to try to manage the pain and tension in my shoulders and upper back without having to use pain killers or live on bottles of motrin.

I was fairly hesitant as this wasn't an insignificant purchase, but after a particularly bad pain night, I impulse purchased at 3 am. My thinking was that if it could take the place of even a few of my therapy appointments, it'd pay for itself depressingly fast.I figured if it was a total bust I'd just send it back.

I watched some videos online and did a little reading before it showed up, so I'd be able to dive right in. Though the app that comes with it is actually great. I like the preprogrammed options a lot and that it shows you which muscles to target and with what adapter

The absolute, immediate, instant relief after a quick 10 min session was so intense, I started actually involuntarily WEEPING, almost as a stress response from the sudden LACK of pressure in my neck.

My therapist was excited to use and integrate it into my 2x weekly sessions and has been able to use the gun to melt the surface tension in seconds, so she can spend most of our sessions working on the deeper issues and knots, thus making it a doubly good investment in terms of chronic pain care. I have more neck mobility than I have in almost 5 years. I haven't had a tension headache in over two weeks, whereas before it was a constant lowgrade - debilitating presence. The ergonomics of the handle were a HUGE selling point to me. I have some neuropathic damage that makes it hard for me to grip on the fingers with my dominant hand when flaring. I'm still able to effectively hold this by myself if i need to, to get targeted relief.

My husband is a grocery store manager on his feet from 8-16 hours a day sometimes and most of the time thats on HARD surfaces. As we getting closer to 40, he's started to feel the effects of those long hours a lot more and was also starting to have significant leg and shoulder pain. His pain level has gone from neeeding to see a doctor/ massage therapist to almost non existent!!!! This is a WONDERFUL tool to invest in if you have a job that requires you to be on your feet a lot.

I put off buying this expensive massager for a long time. Is it really worth the money? Will it really work that well on my sore muscles? After too many days/weeks/months of being super sore after working out and training jiu jitsu i decided to finally try it, and I'm glad I did! Holy crap! After just 5 minutes of using it I can literally feel my sore and tired muscles healing and feeling better. Sore shoulder and neck that hurts with every movement? Virtually gone after 5-10 minutes with the Theragun. Sore legs? Easily massaged out in 5 minutes. I also always hurt my hip flexors in Jiu Jitsu...welp, the Theragun fixed that in one night. It's amazing! I highly recommend it. The only negative is it's still a little loud, and after holding it for a long time your hand will get "buzzy" and kind of numb, and I wish I could reach the middle of my back on my own, so it does help to have a friend (or significant other) to help you use it some times.

I bought this product on the recommendation of a man who works in sports entertainment. It is a very good investment. This is a true blessing. This works on every body part where I had pain: hip, soles of feet, hands, etc. The Theragun app provides routines to help in treatment for plantar fasciitis and carpal tunnel. The Theragun app has a routine for cycle recovery (which is a blessing for me, as I try to ride at least twice a week). Very wise investment for people who are taking care of their temples. Highly recommended.
