Excellent taste, easy to swallow, effective.

It is not hyperbole for me to say that this product was life changing for me. Whether you have that result, most likely depends on your situation and diagnosis. The product arrives in good condition, on time. The flavor took a couple of days for me to get used to, but it is fine now. I like that it is made from pure products and designed by a doctor. I was diagnosed over 10 years ago with "silent reflux." I had some back pain and a couple of choking incidents on solid food that led to an endoscopy and that diagnosis. I took a proton pump inhibitor for over 10 years. I still had a couple of choking like incidents over that time, but they were extremely infrequent, once every couple of years. In the last year, despite still taking proton pump inhibitors, the number of choking like incidents kept increasing until they happened a couple of times a week.

Researching led me to suspect I was now having laryngospasms, which are very scary, but not life threatening. A third type of swallowing test (I had had two others over 10 years) determined that most likely most of my incidents were laryngospasms. When you have these, you are not choking on anything solid. For me, they occurred while eating or drinking or afterwards, when something would hit the back of my throat. You feel like you are choking but are getting air and after a while, it passes. Twice this happened at a restaurant where nearby diners offered to call 911, just so you understand how this might sound to others. The third swallowing test was at a nationally well regarded and nearby teaching hospital. The speech therapist recommended this product to me. Since some people did not think it was worth it, based on reviews, I didn't immediately order it. Once I did order it, I've used it every night, following the directions for taking it before bedtime.

Within a few days, dry coughing I had at night stopped. I have not had a single incident, even when I've had that sensation of something hitting the back of my throat that in the past would have stimulated an attack. I am significantly more relaxed while eating, when at the dentist and in restaurants. I have been taking this for over 5 months. I do also try to do all of the practices recommended for reflux, not eating several hours before bedtime, raising my bed, avoiding certain foods, etc.

To no longer be on tenterhooks that at any moment I may be gasping for air is life changing for me and those close to me.

Texture is like a sticky gel pudding? It's a bit hard to get past, but it's not horrible. The taste is fine. It'd be nice if the packaging were smaller so I could take it in my purse with me, but again, not horrible.

Works pretty good most of the time; but if a person overeats or eats food that cause acid reflex it does not work very well.
