I selected this model because it has a large enough heating surface to accommodate large coffee cups. Works great at keeping my coffee hot. I know longer have to make trips to the kitchen to warm up my coffee in the microwave. The only downside is it has a fixed time of 8 hours to auto shut off. I would have liked some options for auto shut off (perhaps 2, 4, and 8 hour options). I still highly recommend.

Bought this as a candle warmer for my office, it works really well. I can now use my entire candle instead of losing the last little bit. I can turn it on and not worry about having to blow out the wick if I leave my office. The smell of my candle is so much stronger than when I burn it and I love it.
Have not used it as a mug warmer yet, but I am sure it will be just as useful. My only complaint is that the cord could be just a tiny bit longer, it is standard size which is fine, but I have limited area under my desk to plug things in so I had to get a little creative with where I plugged it in.
