Love this, but only after buying a flat-bottomed mug. Was going to return, but happened to find this pink iridescent mug at Walmart, of all places. Works perfectly now, keeps it very hot. Would only recommend it for people who have mugs like this.

I am absolutely happy about this purchase. After reading the reviews, I decided to go ahead and purchase it. It definitely keeps my coffee hot, not scalding, but definitely warm enough that I can still drink it. I use it in my classroom and it can be frustrating taking one sip of coffee and then 5 minutes later it's cold! Grrrr....but now, I can sip my coffee while I teach and have it sitting on the warmer and not have to worry about another cup of cold coffee! Yeah! Definitely recommend you purchase if you are tired of drinking cold coffee and not the iced coffee either lol.

I have 5 of theses. One placed at every work station all over my house. I love the auto shut off. My only wish would be that it got just a little hotter. I like hot coffee.

I bought this one after the one I had before failed after three months because of a cheap on/off switch. That had been the only one I had been able to find that kept my tea hot all day and it was the second one I had gotten of that model because the first one had the same cheap switch that only lasted a year and half, but I felt it had been worth it until the second one broke so soon.

I use a porcelain mug for my tea and it doesn't have the perfectly flat bottom that is recommended for most of these warmers, but this one keeps my tea hot all day, at the perfect temperature (highest setting) that I like it to be when it comes time to take a sip. The only thing I don't like about this one is the automatic shutoff, but at least it blinks when it shuts off to let me know the plate is still hot, so I just touch it again and it turns back on and I'm good for another 4 hours. (It doesn't sense when I pick up the cup and reset itself, as some other reviewer seemed to think it did. It stays on for four hours after it's turned on and then it goes off until it's turned on again.)

I work all day in my home office and this one has a nice long cord so it's easy to place it on my desk where I want it to go and there's still plenty of cord left to reach the place where I plug it in. It looks nice on my desk (I got the green because I didn't want the dark blue), does what it's supposed to do and seems to work well. There are no moving parts to break, so I'll see how long this one lasts, but it should be good for a while unless the electronics go bad (like so many others do these days).

Very pleased so far and highly recommend. Only time will tell how well it holds up over time.
