Good water bottle but comes open all the time

I bought this specifically for the paracord handle. I love that. My previous water bottle's handle kept breaking from being dropped, but this version solves that problem. It doesn't have any plastic taste, and I'm super sensitive to that. The only issue is that it comes open ALL the time, and it drives me crazy. I have lost 32oz of water in my car - multiple times!! My last bottle did not come open so easily. Yes, the lock feature works, but I don't always remember to use it. As long as it's locked, I don't have issues with it leaking or anything. So just be aware you need to lock it if might end up sideways, like when transporting it in a car. Otherwise, it's a great water bottle.

I rated so low because so far, I can get the top to unscrew. I don't know if they screwed the rope of handle into the closing of the lid or what but I've tried and tried and can't get off. Very disappointed because I intended to start using it yesterday. I will have to wait and see if a neighbor can get it off and if it breaks, it's not going to be my fault. That's ridiculous it's so tight you can't open it. May be sending back!!
UPDATE:: FINALLY got it opened! The trick is to put the whole bottle under your arm and hold against your body and then twist. It wouldn't work just holding it with my hand. Needed more grip. I filled a little over half way with ice first and surprisingly the ice lasted pretty much most of the day!!

I definitely under estimated the size on this water bottle when I bought it. It's gargantuan! But that's good I don't like running back and forth for water. This is a pretty sturdy water bottle, I throw it in my Jeep and it rolls around, doesn't leak or anything. It also has a pretty cool para cord handle on it for easy transportation. The straw set up is a little interesting as it's not a true flip top where the straw comes up but rather a cone with a straw attached that retracts my pushing the straw back into the bottle. I could see this probably causing some issues down the road but for now it's just fine.
